ProCase PC-08361923 Case for 10.2-Inch iPad, Navy, Translucent Hard Back

Some iPad users want a cover that stays on for everyday handling, others prioritize a case that also folds for reading, typing, and video. The ProCase PC-08361923 combines a slim profile with a foldable front cover for those routines.

Its translucent frosted hard back shows the Apple icon while helping guard against fingerprints and scratches. The navy cover adds a clean, understated look.

Auto Sleep/Wake, a magnetic closure, and access to the iPad’s cameras, speaker, ports, and buttons make it practical for regular use.

Quick overview

This case is made for the 10.2-inch iPad 7th, 8th, and 9th generations. Its hard back and slim design add a protective layer without making the case the focus of your setup. The frosted finish lets the Apple icon show through, while the foldable cover provides viewing and typing angles for different tasks.

For example, fold the cover into a stand to watch a video or read hands-free, then reposition it for typing or drawing. Auto Sleep/Wake responds as the cover opens and closes, and a magnet holds the cover shut when the iPad is put away. Unlike a sleeve that must be removed for use, this case stays fitted to the device during everyday activities.

How it fits

The case fits 10.2-inch iPad 7th-generation models A2197, A2198, and A2200, 8th-generation models A2270, A2428, A2429, and A2430, and 9th-generation models A2602, A2603, A2604, and A2605. Check the model number on the back of your iPad before choosing the case so you can match the exact generation. It is designed around those specified models, with openings for the camera, speaker, ports, and buttons.

The cover does not support Smart Keyboard use. Customers often praise the case’s light feel, appearance, and fit, while feedback on durability and how securely it stays in place is mixed. That range of feedback makes confirming the iPad model especially useful when selecting the right fit.

Usage tips

Snap the case onto the iPad and fold the front cover into the position that suits the task. The viewing angle is useful for video and reading, the typing angle supports email, drawing, and on-screen typing. Close the cover to secure it magnetically and use the automatic sleep/wake function as you move between tasks. Keep the camera and ports aligned with their openings when fitting the case so they remain accessible.

Worth considering if you want a fitted cover with both a translucent hard back and a foldable front, rather than a separate carry sleeve. The navy color and frosted finish also keep the design simple while allowing the Apple icon to remain visible.
