PETKIT D4H-2 Automatic Pet Feeder with 1080p Camera and Multi-Pet Recognition
Product description
Households with multiple pets need a clear way to manage scheduled meals and see which animal has eaten. The PETKIT D4H-2 combines automatic feeding with a camera and AI-powered pet recognition in one app-controlled feeder.
Would it help to check both the meal and the pet who came to the bowl? The camera captures feeding activity, while recognition can distinguish up to 15 cats and dogs.
With a 3-liter capacity, portion settings, two-way audio, and Wi-Fi support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, it brings feeding and check-ins together for everyday routines.
Best use cases
For homes with several cats or dogs, the feeder’s recognition feature helps identify who has eaten and who has not. Open the PETKIT app to view feeding activity and follow a scheduled plan, with portion control from 1 to 5 portions. This gives pet owners a way to manage meals remotely instead of relying only on a basic timer.
It also suits routines where a pet may need a familiar call at mealtime. Record a voice message of up to 20 seconds, and the feeder can play it while dispensing food. Two-way audio lets you interact with your pet through the app. For a practical check-in, review the camera around a scheduled meal to see which pets visited the bowl.
What stands out
The 1080p camera has a 140° viewing angle and infrared night vision, so feeding activity can be viewed in low light as well as during the day. Motion clips are categorized as Feeding, Eating, or Pet Visiting, making it easier to find a particular type of activity in the timeline. Before-and-after photos show the amount of food left in the bowl.
The app can send alerts for low food and power failure, and the camera’s operating time and voice recording can be managed in the app. The feeder also includes a freshness-preservation feature and desiccant. Buyers often highlight the camera, everyday functionality, and ease of setup, opinions differ on whether the price represents good value.
