Peslv Privacy Screen MacBook Pro 16 Inch 2021, Magnetic Matte Filter

A magnetic top strip makes this Peslv privacy screen easy to attach when you want a more private workspace and remove when you need an unobstructed display. Its removable design suits days that move between shared offices, cafes, airports, and trains.

The matte surface helps reduce reflected light, while the privacy filter is designed to limit side viewing. It also provides a convenient way to add screen coverage only when the situation calls for it.

This screen is made for MacBook Pro 16-inch models from 2021–2026, including the listed A3429, A3428, A3403, A3186, A2991, A2780, and A2485 models. Match your MacBook’s model number before choosing a screen protector.

Where it shines

A removable filter is useful when privacy needs change throughout the day. Attach it for working with documents or messages in a shared space, then take it off when you want to share your screen or use the laptop in a more private setting. Compared with a permanently attached filter, this magnetic design makes it easier to switch between those two needs.

The screen is designed to keep the display visible from a direct viewing angle of about ±30°, helping make side viewing less convenient for people nearby. That can be especially useful on a train or in a busy cafe, where other people may be seated close to your screen.

Highlights

A reinforced magnetic strip along the top edge holds the filter in place, and the screen can be removed and stored using the included organizer. The matte finish is designed to reduce reflected light. The filter layer is described as reducing 95% of blue light and 92% of UV light, while the anti-glare layer intercepts 95% of reflected light. A scratch-resistant layer adds a barrier against everyday surface contact.

The protector is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and has a listed 5H hardness. Included components are a magnetic privacy screen, screen-cleaning kit, nanofiber cleaning cloth, and screen protector organizer.

Buyer feedback is varied on privacy, adhesion, fit, and screen clarity, while ease of putting the filter on and taking it off is a commonly noted positive. The magnetic attachment and removable format are central to its appeal, especially for users who want to adapt their setup between private and shared workspaces.

Care tips

Before attaching the filter, clean the display with the supplied cleaning kit and nanofiber cloth so dust is less likely to sit between the screen and protector. Align the reinforced magnetic strip with the top bezel and press it gently into place. The magnetic frame has a flat side and a slightly raised side, position the raised side facing you during installation. When you remove the filter, use the organizer to keep it ready for the next time you need privacy.
