MAGIC JOHN 3rd Gen iPhone 18 Pro Max Privacy Screen Protector, 2-Pack 9H AR Glass

The 28° privacy view helps keep your screen content out of sight from people beside you, making this tempered-glass protector useful for private browsing in shared spaces.

An anti-reflective coating is designed to reduce glare in bright surroundings, while the smooth-touch surface supports responsive swipes and taps.

Made for the 6.9-inch iPhone 18 Pro Max, this two-pack combines a precise fit with an installation design that aligns the protector and removes dust as you apply it.

Usage tips

Use the automatic dust-elimination installation process by covering the screen and pulling as directed. The protector is designed to align itself and carry dust away during application, helping reduce the chance of bubbles. Follow the installation video referenced by the product instructions for the intended setup.

Its case-friendly, edge-to-edge fit is laser-cut for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, so there is no cutting or trimming during installation. The 28° privacy filter is intended to limit side viewing, position the phone toward yourself when reading messages or handling personal information in a public place. The anti-reflective coating can also help make the display more comfortable to view in bright environments.

What stands out

The combination of a 28° privacy view and anti-reflective coating addresses two everyday screen concerns: nearby people seeing sensitive content and distracting reflections in brighter settings. The 9H tempered glass is designed to resist scratches from items such as keys and pocket contents and to help absorb shock from accidental drops. Its smooth coating is intended to preserve a close-to-original screen feel while keeping touch response comfortable for repeated swipes.

Need privacy for a phone used around other people? The side-view filter makes this a purpose-built alternative to a clear protector, while the two-piece pack provides a second protector for replacement. The precise, case-friendly shape also suits buyers who want screen coverage without trimming the glass to fit.

Buyer feedback highlights the installation process and fit, while opinions are mixed on privacy performance, glare reduction, bubbles, and durability. Some buyers report that the protector breaks after a drop, and feedback on value is also divided. A few also report that it interferes with Face ID, so consider that experience alongside the listed screen-protection features when choosing a protector.

Final verdict

For iPhone 18 Pro Max owners who want a privacy-focused screen protector rather than a clear screen-only option, this MAGIC JOHN two-pack brings together a 28° side-view filter, anti-reflective coating, 9H tempered glass, and guided dust-removal installation. Its device-specific fit and smooth-touch finish make it suited to everyday phone use at home, at work, or in shared spaces, with a second protector included in the pack and a 180-day warranty.
