Paekole YYK-Q16-O14 AI Translation Earbuds, 198 Languages, Open-Ear Fit
Product description
Some travel moments call for quick language support, other parts of the day are about calls, music, or staying aware of your surroundings. Paekole YYK-Q16-O14 earbuds bring these needs together in one pair. Use the companion app for translation, then switch to everyday listening and calls.
Key takeaways
The earbuds support real-time, two-way translation in 198 languages through a free-to-use companion app. An internet connection is required for translation. Six modes cover face-to-face conversations, real-time recording translation, simultaneous interpretation, voice calls, video calls, and photo translation, so you can choose a format that fits the interaction. AI chat is also available for questions.
Their open-ear design rests outside the ear canals, with soft silicone hooks to help keep each 8g earbud in place. This lets you listen while remaining aware of surrounding sounds. IPX7 water resistance is suited to handling sweat during a workout or rain on a walk. For calls and entertainment, the earbuds also support music playback and voice calls, with touch controls for managing music and calls.
Usage tips
For a face-to-face conversation, choose the translation mode that matches how both people will participate: both can wear earbuds, or one person can wear an earbud while the other reads the translation on a phone. For directions, hotel check-ins, or reading a menu, the range of modes lets you adapt the translation to the moment. Photo translation is useful when the text is printed, while recording translation can help with spoken content.
Pair the earbuds with a cell phone and use the companion app for translation and sound adjustments. Bluetooth 6.1 supports wireless listening, and the earbuds power on automatically when removed from the case for pairing. The open-ear fit is especially practical when you want to keep some awareness of nearby activity while listening or talking.
Practical tips
The charging case adds up to 50 hours of use, alongside up to 10 hours per charge. If you are heading out soon, a five-minute charge provides up to one hour of listening. The case’s LED display shows the battery level, making it easier to check charge status before a commute, class, or day of meetings.
Touch controls let you manage music and answer or end calls without reaching for the phone. The same earbuds can serve different parts of a routine: translation for a conversation, a voice or video call for work, then music or a podcast while traveling. This makes them a practical fit for people who want language tools and everyday wireless audio in one device rather than a translation-only setup.
