Pacific Mailer PMG2989-6 Clear Packing Tape, 6 Rolls, 2-Inch, 2.7 mil

Quick sizing guide

For sealing shipping cartons, packing orders, or getting boxes ready for a move, this clear tape comes in a six-roll pack. Each roll is 2 inches wide and 65 yards long, with a thickness of 2.7 mil. The transparent finish lets labels and barcodes remain visible through the tape, which is useful when packages need to be identified or scanned after sealing.

The rolls have a 3-inch core and are described as fitting a standard 2-inch handheld dispenser. That gives you a practical option for routine packing work, whether you are preparing a few household boxes or handling cartons in a shipping area.

Strengths

Pacific Mailer uses BOPP film with an adhesive designed for carton sealing. The tape is recommended for cardboard and is also listed as compatible with glass, metal, plastic, and wood. For everyday packing, the 2-inch width covers a useful strip across carton seams, while the clear finish keeps printed shipping information easy to see. Compared with opaque tape, this format is a natural choice when you want the package label to remain readable without covering it with a colored surface.

The six-roll pack supports ongoing packing tasks without relying on a single roll. Keep a roll near a packing station or use it with a compatible handheld dispenser when sealing several cartons. Buyers’ feedback is mixed on adhesion, thickness, and durability: some appreciate how well it sticks and its sturdy feel, while others describe weaker adhesion or tearing during use. These differing impressions are worth weighing alongside the listed 2.7 mil thickness and the kind of packing job you have in mind.
