International Plastics Co. CLN Stretch Film, 18 in x 1,200 ft, 500% Stretch

Best use cases

The 18-inch-wide clear plastic film comes in a 1,200-foot roll for wrapping furniture, boxes, and household items during a move or while they’re in storage. Its 500% stretch ability lets the film extend around bulky shapes and cling to itself, helping keep wrapped items together without relying on tape or twine.

Use it to bundle loose belongings, cover furniture, or secure boxes for transport. The transparent film keeps the wrapped item visible, which can make it easier to identify what you’ve packed.

Where it shines

For moving day, stretch the film around furniture or a group of packed items so the layers grip one another. That makes it a practical alternative to tying bundles with twine or applying tape directly to surfaces. The product description also states that it leaves no residue, a useful feature when wrapping items that will be unwrapped at their destination. For storage, the same wrap can help hold items together and cover furniture between uses.

Need to protect several different shapes with one roll? The 18-inch width offers room to wrap broad furniture surfaces as well as boxes and smaller household items. Customers often describe the film as helpful for moving and protecting belongings from scratches and weather. Feedback on adhesion and sturdiness is mixed, though: some say it clings well, while others report difficulty getting it to stick to itself, some also describe the film as thin. Those varying impressions are worth keeping in mind when choosing how to wrap a particular load.
