Olababy Silicone Straw Cup, 9 oz, Blueberry, See-Through and Spill-Resistant

See-through silicone lets you check the drink level at a glance, while the easy-to-read ounce and milliliter markings help you track how much is left. The Olababy 9 oz straw cup is designed for toddlers practicing independent drinking, with a soft straw and a weighted, non-slip base to support a steadier grip.

Use it with the straw or as an open cup, so it can suit different stages of learning to drink. Its Blueberry color and reusable silicone design bring a practical option to everyday drinks at home.

Key features

The cup is made from food-grade silicone and is listed as free from plastic, BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates. Its soft material is intended to be gentle on developing gums and teeth, and the flexible construction is described as unbreakable compared with glass or ceramic cups. That lightweight feel can help toddlers focus on holding and lifting their drink as they practice.

A soft straw with a hidden valve is designed to control liquid flow, including when the cup is turned upside down. The straw removes for cleaning, and the see-through material makes it easy to identify the contents without opening the lid. Buyers often praise the straw’s ease of use, the cup’s grip, and how straightforward it is to clean. Some also report that the lid stays on securely, while others mention it can pop off, feedback about spills and leakage is also mixed, so the lid and straw are worth handling with care during everyday use.

Size & fit

The cup holds 9 oz and measures 2.5 inches wide by 4.8 inches high. Its capacity is suited to older toddlers and drinks such as juice, milk, or smoothies. The rounded shape and easy-grip design give little hands a cup to practice holding, while the marked, see-through sides make it useful for serving and checking portions at home.

Buyers commonly describe the size as a good fit for a first toddler cup. If you are choosing between a small starter cup and a larger everyday option, this 9 oz version offers room for thicker drinks while keeping the level visible as your child drinks.

How to use it

Offer it with the straw for sipping practice, or use it as an open cup as your child works on drinking independently. The removable straw can be taken out for a more thorough clean. The cup is dishwasher-, microwave-, and freezer-safe, and is rated for cold, warm, and hot liquids, making it adaptable to different drinks and routines. For a typical home setup, it can serve juice with a meal, milk between activities, or a smoothie at snack time.

The cup is designed to minimize spills, but buyer feedback includes reports of liquid escaping from the straw and differing experiences with the lid. Keeping it upright when carrying or setting it down is a practical way to manage drinks between sips.

Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you want a reusable toddler cup that supports the move from assisted sipping toward more independent drinking. The 9 oz capacity, removable straw, open-cup option, visible measurements, and soft silicone construction make it a versatile choice for serving everyday drinks at home. Its combination of straw practice and open-cup use is especially useful when you want one cup that can support more than one way of drinking.
