Office Chair 500 lb Capacity

On-body feel

A standard office chair can feel cramped when you want room to shift position or lean back between tasks. This high-back recliner pairs an extra-wide seat with adjustable lumbar support, padded armrests, and a retractable footrest, giving you more ways to settle in at a desk. The PU leather upholstery and high-density foam add cushioning, while the wraparound back and oversized headrest are designed to support your shoulders and spine. Picture finishing a stretch of desk work upright, then reclining for a phone call with your legs supported, that shift in posture is the main appeal here.

The built-in lumbar dial adjusts support intensity, and the chair swivels 360°. Its recline locks at three preset angles: 90°, 120°, or 135°. That makes it more adaptable than a basic task chair, though the fixed presets offer less flexibility than a recliner with a continuously adjustable tilt. The footrest can also be retracted when you want to return to an upright working position. How often would you actually use a footrest during the workday? If the answer is often, this feature may matter more than extra adjustments you rarely touch.

Worth considering if you want a roomy seat, reclining position, and lower-back support in one chair, particularly for a home desk that also serves as a place to relax. It may not suit you if you prefer fabric upholstery or need exact seat and chair dimensions before deciding whether it will fit your space, those measurements aren't provided here.

Pros

• Adjustable lumbar support lets you change the intensity rather than rely on a fixed cushion.
• Retractable footrest and lockable recline add a break-friendly setup for calls or downtime.
• The extra-wide seat, oversized headrest, and stated 500 lb capacity are aimed at big and tall users.
• A heavy-duty metal base, class-4 gas lift, and smooth, scratch-proof casters are listed as part of the build.

The trade-off is that this is a substantial, feature-focused chair rather than a simple desk seat. The description doesn't give its dimensions or explain how the PU leather performs in warm rooms, so those details may be important if space or upholstery feel is a deciding factor.

Final verdict

This chair makes the most sense if your priority is a more spacious seat and the option to recline without moving to a separate lounge chair. Its lumbar dial, footrest, and preset recline positions cover both desk work and short breaks, while the listed capacity and wide-seat design speak directly to users who find standard chairs restrictive. A more basic office chair may be a better fit if you only need an upright seat and want fewer features, a more demanding ergonomic setup may call for detailed dimensions and adjustment information that isn't included here. Choose this one for its combination of room, support, and reclining features, but pass if you need confirmed measurements or a fabric-covered seat before buying.
