Efomao Office Chair, 400 lb Capacity

A desk chair has to do more than look at home in a workspace when you spend long stretches working, reading, or reviewing documents. The Efomao executive chair pairs a wide seat with adjustable arms, a reclining back, and a retractable footrest, so it can shift from upright desk work to a more relaxed position. Its pink finish and oversized proportions are a deliberate style choice, while the 400 lb capacity and reinforced steel frame may matter to shoppers looking for a sturdier, roomier design. One detail to keep in mind: the product name identifies PU leather, but the description also calls the upholstery breathable fabric, so the material wording is not fully consistent.

Technical details

The seat measures 23.2 inches wide by 21 inches deep, with a 6.2-inch cushion combining pocket springs and high-density foam. The backrest is listed as 25.6 inches wide, with a 30.7-inch inner backrest height. These dimensions give the chair a more lounge-like footprint than a compact task chair, and the wider seat may suit someone who likes extra room or wants to sit cross-legged. The stated weight capacity is 400 lbs.

For adjustment, the armrests move up or down by 3 inches, and the pneumatic lift provides 3 inches of height adjustment. The back reclines from 90 to 135 degrees, with a retractable padded footrest for leaning back. A chrome base and rolling casters complete the setup. The description says the casters are intended to roll on carpet and hardwood, but it does not specify flooring protection or a locking feature.

Getting the most from it

This chair is designed for a home office or professional workspace where you want one seat to handle focused desk time and occasional breaks. For example, you could work upright at the desk, then recline and extend the footrest to read a document without moving to another seat. Adjust the arms and chair height to line up with your desk, the listed adjustment ranges are specific, so they may not suit every desk or body position.

A solid pick if you want a broad seat, a pink executive look, and a footrest in the same chair. Compared with a basic office chair focused on a smaller footprint and straightforward upright sitting, this model prioritizes extra space and reclining comfort. That larger format may be less convenient in a tight workspace, and the listed features alone don’t establish how supportive it will feel during a full workday. The upholstery description’s mixed wording is also worth factoring in if material is a deciding point.

Before you decide

Can the chair recline? Yes. The back is described as reclining from 90 to 135 degrees, and the footrest pulls out for a more relaxed position.

How much seat room does it offer? The seat is listed as 23.2 inches wide and 21 inches deep, with a 6.2-inch-thick cushion.

Are the armrests adjustable? Yes. They have 3 inches of height adjustment. The description does not list adjustment for their width or angle.

Final verdict

Choose the Efomao if a roomy seat, a 400 lb capacity, and the option to recline with a footrest matter more than keeping your desk setup compact. Its dimensions and adjustment range are clearly stated, but the upholstery description is inconsistent and the chair’s larger footprint may not work in every office. Not the best choice if you need a small, simple task chair or require a clearly specified upholstery material before buying.
