NUBWO HG04 Wireless Gaming Headset, 7.1 Surround, 80-Hour Battery

For a late-night FPS session on PS5 or a long stretch of PC gaming, the NUBWO HG04 gives you wireless audio without keeping you tethered to your setup.

Its 2.4GHz USB transmitter is designed for PS5, PS4, PC, and laptops, while Bluetooth 5.3 offers a connection option for phones and tablets. That makes it easier to use one headset across different gaming and listening devices.

The over-ear design weighs 270 g and folds for storage. With 7.1 surround sound, 40 mm drivers, mic monitoring, and an advertised battery life of up to 80 hours, the HG04 brings practical features together for extended play.

Key takeaways

The HG04 is built around wireless flexibility. Use the 2.4GHz USB connection for compatible gaming setups, or Bluetooth when connecting to a phone or tablet. A detachable Type-C-to-3.5 mm audio cable also gives you a wired listening option. Check that the connection you plan to use matches your device before getting started.

For games where positional audio helps you follow action, the 7.1 surround sound and 40 mm dynamic drivers are intended to make effects, dialogue, and in-game cues easier to hear in context. The headset also features passive noise cancellation, while mic monitoring lets you hear your own voice through the headset and adjust how loudly you speak. Buyers often praise the sound and cushioned comfort, feedback on microphone quality and noise cancellation is more mixed, so those points can depend on individual expectations.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose the connection that suits the device in front of you: the wireless transmitter for compatible consoles and computers, or Bluetooth 5.3 for a phone or tablet. The detachable audio cable provides another way to connect when you prefer a wired setup. Its folding design makes the headset easier to put away between sessions, and the adjustable headband helps you set the fit for wear.

The listed battery life is up to 80 hours, with a charging time of 3 hours. The headset cannot be used while charging, so charging between gaming sessions keeps it ready for the next one. Mic monitoring is activated or turned off by holding the mute button for 3 seconds, giving you a direct way to manage sidetone during play.

Usage tips

For a console or desktop gaming session, connect the wireless transmitter and use the headset’s over-ear fit to stay focused on game audio. In a squad game, mic monitoring can help you hear your own voice as you speak. For a phone or tablet, Bluetooth offers a wireless alternative without relying on the gaming transmitter.

This is a useful middle ground between a wired headset dedicated to one setup and separate headsets for gaming and mobile listening. It suits you if you want a foldable, 270 g headset with multiple connection options and a long listed battery life for extended play. Buyers also describe it as comfortable and suitable for gaming, while fit preferences vary.
