NoxLumina Galaxy Projector Pro, 13-Disc Planetarium Projector with Timer

For kids who want to explore space and adults looking for a bedroom astronomy display, the NoxLumina Galaxy Projector Pro offers a choice of 13 celestial scenes rather than one fixed projection.

Each slide includes a brief introduction to its featured subject, from the Moon and Solar System to nebulae and the Laniakea Supercluster. That adds an educational angle to a projector designed for room ambience.

The images can cover ceilings or walls, and the unit rotates the starry projection at either of two speeds. For the clearest picture, the instructions recommend using it in a darker room.

Practical tips

Place the projector in a darker space for clearer images, then adjust the focus and projection angle to suit the wall or ceiling. The listed ideal viewing distance is up to 9.84 ft, with projection possible up to 16.4 ft away. If the focus knob reaches the end of its range, turn it the other way to continue adjusting.

When loading a slide, point the side marked “UP” upward. The projector connects by USB, but the set does not include a power adapter, the instructions specify a 5V/2A adapter and warn against using a high-voltage adapter. That power requirement is worth factoring in if you do not already have a suitable one.

Unlike a basic night light that repeats a single pattern, this model lets you change among 13 space scenes. Its slow, adjustable rotation is intended to create a calmer display, rather than a fast-moving effect. You’ll appreciate it if you want a rotating bedroom projection that can also prompt questions about astronomy. Better avoided if you need a projector that includes its power adapter.

What you get

The package includes the projector, 13 space slides (one already installed), a USB-C cable, a cleaning cloth, and a user manual. The slides cover subjects such as Earth, the Moon, a black hole, the Orion Nebula, and the Andromeda Galaxy. Their brief introductions can help make a movie night, bedtime display, or casual space-learning activity more interactive, without requiring the projection to serve as a standalone lesson.

Questions before you buy

Can it be used as a night light? It has a timer with 1-hour, 2-hour, and 4-hour auto-off settings, and the listing describes quiet operation. The 4-hour setting is the default.

Does it project more than stars? Yes. The included slides show 13 different space scenes, including planets, nebulae, and galaxies, the starry sky also rotates.

Is a power adapter included? No. A USB-C cable is included, and the instructions call for a 5V/2A power adapter, which is not part of the set.

When it makes sense

Choose this projector if interchangeable space scenes, adjustable focus, and a rotating ceiling or wall display suit the room you have in mind. The included slide introductions add a useful learning element for curious kids, while the timer and two rotation speeds support a more relaxed bedroom setup. If you prefer a simple fixed-pattern light, the 13-slide astronomy format may be more than you need, if you choose this one, plan for a separate compatible power adapter.
