Nettech 1387df38-fcee-429f-a9b2-719033a5865c LG TV Remote with Netflix Button

Infrared control and a dedicated Netflix quick button make this Nettech remote a straightforward replacement for a compatible LG Smart TV. It is designed for LG Smart TVs from 2015 through 2026 and works without programming. Insert two AAA batteries, then use the button layout to manage everyday TV functions.

How to use it

Insert two AAA batteries and point the remote at the TV to use its infrared controls. No programming is required, so it is ready to use once the batteries are in place. The Netflix quick button provides a direct shortcut to the streaming service, while the button-based layout keeps control in your hands without relying on voice commands or a pointer.

This remote is made for LG Smart TVs, it does not control soundbars or DVD players. Its infrared connection also means it does not provide Bluetooth, voice search, or pointer functions. For a household that mainly needs a replacement TV remote, the simple setup and dedicated streaming shortcut keep the task focused on everyday television control.

What stands out

The main benefit is having a replacement that is designed for a broad range of LG Smart TVs without a setup process. That makes it useful when an existing remote is lost or needs replacing, and the Netflix button offers a quick way to reach a frequently used streaming app. The remote has 25 buttons and an infrared range listed at up to 40 feet, giving you familiar physical controls for use from across the room.

Customer feedback often describes the remote as easy to use and convenient as a replacement, with some noting that it connected without setup. Feedback is not uniform: some customers report that certain buttons need repeated presses, and opinions about battery life are mixed. These experiences are useful context when comparing a simple infrared replacement with a more feature-focused remote that includes voice or pointer controls.
