NestGuard Child Proof Door Lock, 2-Pack Adjustable Stainless Steel Strap, White
Product description
The adjustable stainless steel strap lets you fit the NestGuard Child Proof Door Lock to different door setups, while its adhesive mounting keeps installation tool-free. The two-pack helps create a simple barrier at rooms or openings you want curious toddlers or pets to avoid.
A rotating base gives you flexibility when positioning each lock. The white finish keeps the design unobtrusive on doors and frames.
Practical tips
Choose a suitable door or frame surface before installing. The adhesive mount is not intended for drywall or wallpaper. After placing the lock, press firmly on the adhesive area for a few seconds to help it bond. The adjustable strap and 360-degree rotating base make it easier to position the lock for the opening, adjust the strap to suit the setup.
For a household with several areas to manage, the two-pack can be used at separate doors or openings. It is also listed as suitable for bifold, sliding, pocket, and double doors, as well as windows. Keep the lock positioned where an adult can operate it while it remains out of easy reach for a young child.
What stands out
This design uses an adhesive mount rather than a drilled installation, making it a practical approach for caregivers who want to add a child-safety barrier without drilling into a door or frame. The stainless steel strap is adjustable, and the 360-degree base rotation allows the lock to be oriented to match the installation area.
Buyers often describe the lock as straightforward to use and appreciate being able to lock and unlock it easily. Feedback on the adhesive is mixed: some find it holds well, while others report weaker sticking. A few buyers also mention paint being pulled from walls, which makes following the recommended surface guidance especially useful. These locks are intended to help restrict access, not replace supervision.
