Navona 5-Pack Heavy-Duty Plastic Hanging File Folders, Letter Size, 2-Inch Expansion

The expandable polypropylene pocket gives these hanging folders room for thicker document groups, while enclosed sides help keep loose papers from slipping out. The set includes five black folders sized for letter paper, with adjustable hanging hooks and clear insertable tabs for labeling.

That combination is aimed at filing cabinets and drawers where you want to group paperwork by subject without using a separate box or loose pocket folder. The material is described as water-resistant and wipe-clean, but buyer feedback on sturdiness and setup is mixed.

How it fits

These folders are made for standard letter-size documents (8.5 x 11 inches) and are designed to hang in filing cabinets. Their pockets expand up to 2 inches, which can help accommodate a growing stack of papers such as invoices, school documents, contracts, or medical records. Reinforced, enclosed sides are intended to keep papers and smaller items inside as you move a folder.

The adjustable hooks and clear tabs support a filing system you can relabel as categories change. For a practical setup, you could assign each folder a household or work topic, add a label, and place it with the other letter-size files in a cabinet. As with other hanging folders, the key fit question is whether your cabinet or drawer uses hanging-folder supports.

Benefits

Compared with basic paper hanging folders, this plastic format is intended to handle routine filing and occasional spills with a wipe-clean surface. The expandable pocket is useful when a category grows beyond a thin stack, while the enclosed sides offer more containment than an open-sided folder. Black coloring gives the set a consistent look, the included clear tabs provide a way to identify each folder without writing directly on it.

Buyer feedback is not uniform. Some customers say the folders work well and describe them as sturdy, while others find them flimsy. Stability and setup also draw criticism, including reports that folders do not stay in place and that attaching the tabs can be frustrating. Those comments are worth weighing if you expect to move folders frequently or want a particularly rigid filing system.

When it makes sense

It’s a great fit if you need a small set of expandable, letter-size hanging folders for organizing paperwork in a compatible cabinet or drawer, and you prefer plastic over a basic paper option. The set’s five folders and labeling tabs suit a few distinct categories without requiring a larger filing system.

You may want to skip it if you need consistent buyer-reported rigidity or especially straightforward setup: feedback on both stability and ease of use is mixed. For a stationary filing system with thicker document groups, the expandable pockets offer a clear purpose, for a demanding setup where folders must stay firmly positioned as they are handled, that reported uncertainty matters.
