LCKFFYD TG888888 Clear Vinyl Tarp, 6 x 6 ft, 14-Mil Waterproof with Grommets

The clear vinyl construction lets light through while providing a waterproof cover for plants and outdoor spaces. At 6 x 6 ft, this tarp suits focused coverage for a greenhouse section, balcony, garden area, or pet hutch. Reinforced edges and perimeter grommets give you practical points for securing it in place.

Pros

Clear material helps keep the covered area visible, which is useful when placing a tarp over plants or a pet hutch. The 14-mil vinyl is designed for waterproof coverage, and the reinforced hem, double-stitched edges, internal rope, and plastic-reinforced corners add structure around the areas used for tying it down. Rust-resistant metal grommets are positioned along the edges and at the corners, so the tarp can be fastened with rope rather than left loose.

Buyers often appreciate the tarp’s clarity, substantial feel, and ease of setup. Feedback on durability is mixed: some report that it holds up in outdoor conditions, while others describe tearing. Some buyers also mention wrinkles that remain after unfolding. These experiences are useful context when choosing a cover for a particular setup.

Key points

This square tarp measures 72 x 72 inches, also described as 6 x 6 ft. Its clear finish makes it a practical alternative to an opaque tarp when you want a cover that still allows a view through the material. The product is made of vinyl and is listed as waterproof. It can be used for plant coverage, balcony and garden protection, roof coverage, camping, or a boat cover, among the stated applications.

For a greenhouse or garden setup, position the tarp over the area you want covered, then use the grommets to attach it to suitable tie-down points. The spacing is approximately 20 inches from grommet center to center, giving you multiple points around the perimeter for securing the cover. A polypropylene rope is listed as an included component.

Usage tips

Unfold the tarp and arrange it over the intended area before tying it down, so you can align the edges and grommets with your fastening points. Distribute the ties around the reinforced perimeter rather than relying on a single point. This is especially useful for a balcony cover, greenhouse area, or other setup where the tarp needs to stay positioned over an open space. The clear material also suits situations where keeping the covered area visible matters, such as viewing plants or animals through the cover.
