MOMINSIDE Diaper Backpack with 18 Pockets

Technical details

Parents and caregivers who want baby essentials separated instead of piled together get a lot of dedicated storage here. The MOMINSIDE diaper backpack has 18 pockets, with room for diapers, clothes, feeding supplies, and smaller items.

Its exterior combines soft vegan leather with waterproof nylon. The bag measures 12" L × 5.8" W × 16.5" H and weighs 3.3 lbs. The pockets include a large wet pocket, four insulated pockets, a laptop pocket, a mesh pocket, and several smaller compartments. There are eight exterior pockets and ten interior pockets, two exterior pockets are on the sides.

The wide-open front zippered pocket is meant to make items such as diapers and baby clothes easier to reach without digging through the main compartment. That setup is useful when you need a fresh outfit quickly, though the bag’s listed weight is worth factoring in before adding everything you plan to carry.

Getting the most from it

This bag is designed for caregivers, not as a child’s backpack, the listing says it is not intended for children 12 and under. There are four ways to carry it: as a backpack, by its top leather handles, clipped to a stroller with the included straps, or using the luggage sleeve. That gives it more flexibility than a basic shoulder tote, especially when you’re moving between a car, stroller, and travel luggage.

The listing doesn’t specify laptop dimensions or the capacity of individual pockets, so the laptop compartment shouldn’t be treated as a guaranteed fit for a particular device. A solid pick if you want baby gear, a change of clothes, and wet items organized in one bag. Not the best choice if you’re looking for a lightweight bag or one that can go in the washing machine.

Usage tips

Use the large wet pocket to keep damp clothes apart from dry items, and reserve the insulated pockets for feeding-related supplies. The bag has two insulated pockets on the exterior and two inside, giving you options for items you want close at hand versus those you’d rather keep inside. The pocket layout can help with quick changes, but it still pays to give frequently used items a consistent spot.

For a spill, the maker says to wipe the surface with a towel moistened with soapy water. The care instructions specify hand washing only and hanging the bag to dry. That extra care is a practical trade-off for the mixed materials, it’s not a bag to toss into a machine after a messy day.

Practical doubts

Can it attach to a stroller? Yes. Stroller straps are included, and the bag can also be carried as a backpack or by its top handles.

Does it have insulated storage? Yes. The listing identifies four insulated pockets, split between the exterior and interior.

Can it hold a laptop? There is a dedicated laptop pocket, but no device dimensions are provided, so fit depends on the laptop.

Final verdict

This MOMINSIDE diaper backpack makes sense for caregivers who value separated storage and want several ways to carry their supplies during outings or travel. The wet pocket, insulated compartments, and stroller straps give it more purpose than a simple large backpack. Its 3.3 lb listed weight and hand-wash-only care are the main trade-offs, so choose it for organization and carrying flexibility rather than minimal weight or easy machine cleaning.
