Mihachi Turtleneck Dog Sweater, Medium Acrylic Cable Knit with Leash Hole
Product description
Medium is the listed size for this Mihachi dog sweater, with a 22-inch chest and 13-inch neck measurement. The sizing details also list a 16-inch back length, so fit depends on more than your dog’s weight alone.
The sweater is made from 100% acrylic cable-knit fabric, with a high turtleneck collar and an opening for a leash. It is designed as a warm layer for fall and winter.
You can choose from five sizes and seven colors according to the product details. The practical question is whether the listed measurements suit your dog and whether a pullover knit is the kind of cold-weather layer you want.

Getting the most from it
Measure your dog around the widest part of the chest and rib cage, as the product guidance recommends, then compare that measurement with the listed chest girth. Check the neck and back measurements too, matching the chest alone may not be enough to judge how the sweater will sit. Customer feedback on fit is mixed: some buyers find the sizing accurate, while others say the sweater runs large. Reports also differ on stretch, including comments that the front leg openings are less elastic.
The cable-knit construction and high collar give this more coverage than a very basic garment, while the leash opening is intended to let a leash pass through at the neck. For a neighborhood walk on a chilly day, that opening may make it easier to use the sweater with a leash rather than choosing a layer without one. A simpler, less covered garment may suit dogs that do not need a warm knit layer, this style is aimed at added warmth and a dressed-up look.
You’ll appreciate it if you want a soft-feeling acrylic sweater with a turtleneck look for cooler-weather outings. Buyers often praise its appearance, warmth, and softness, including comfort after washing. Durability feedback is less reassuring: some customers report seams coming apart or the sweater ripping after a period of use. That makes long-term wear a reasonable factor to weigh, rather than assuming the knit will hold up equally for every dog.
How to use it
Use the measurements to choose a size before dressing your dog, and pass the leash through the opening at the neck when needed. The high collar is designed to make the garment easier to put on and take off, but customer comments about stretch and fit vary. If your dog falls between measurements, the available details do not specify how to choose between sizes, so the listed measurements are the clearest reference.
Questions before you buy
Does the medium size fit every medium-sized dog? The label alone cannot establish fit. The listed measurements are a 22-inch chest, 13-inch neck, and 16-inch back, and buyer feedback on sizing is mixed.
Can a leash be used with the sweater? The design includes an opening at the neck for passing a leash through.
What is the sweater made from? It is listed as 100% acrylic. No care instructions are provided in the product details.
Should you buy it?
This Mihachi sweater is worth considering if your priority is a cable-knit winter layer with a high collar and leash opening, and the measurements align with your dog. It may be less suitable if you need confidence in long-term durability or a consistently predictable fit: customer reports are divided on sizing and stretch, and some raise concerns about ripping and loose stitching. The measurements and intended use make it a more informed choice than selecting a sweater by appearance alone.
