METRONIC Gift Bags 5.25 x 3.75 x 8 Inch, 100 Pack – Black Heavy-Duty Kraft Paper Bags with Handles

What this product is and what it solves

METRONIC Gift Bags are small, black kraft paper bags designed for takeout, gifts, and party favors. They come in a bulk pack of 100 and are built from 100gsm recycled paper, with FSC certification. The combination of sturdy handles and a reinforced bottom aims to make carrying light items easier and more reliable than loose tissue or flimsy bags.

How it’s built and what that means in use

The bags are made from premium kraft paper, offering a balance between cost and durability. A reinforced bottom helps keep contents steady, and the handles are designed for comfortable transport. The surface is smooth, which makes it convenient for ink absorption—handy if you want to personalize with stamps, logos, or your own artwork.

Pros and what stands out

• Recycled, FSC-certified material supports eco-conscious choices without sacrificing performance.
• Holds up to 10 lbs, making them versatile for gifts, small retail items, or takeout snacks.
• Neat, wavy edge reduces risk of scratches on hands during handling, adding a small but meaningful comfort factor.
• Blank canvas for DIY projects: ideal for stamping a logo, customizing with artwork, or adding personal touches for events.

Cons and limitations to consider

• Being a small size (5.25" W x 3.75" G x 8" H), these bags are best for compact items, they won’t fit larger gifts or bulky products.
• While sturdy, they’re still paper bags and may not withstand very heavy, sharp-edged items repeatedly without care.
• The color is solid black, if your branding relies on color accuracy or prints with very light inks, you may want to test.

Who this is for

• Small shops, bakeries, or retailers needing affordable, disposable gift or takeout bags.
• Individuals planning DIY projects, wedding favors, or party goodies who want a dark, neutral bag that’s easy to personalize.
• Event planners or caterers who require bulk, recyclable packaging that can be customized with logos or stamps.

Who this isn’t ideal for

• You’re packing larger or heavier items that exceed 10 lbs per bag.
• If you need rigid, non-biodegradable packaging for long-term storage or protection against moisture, these paper bags won’t be ideal.

When it makes sense to buy

• You’re aiming for eco-friendly packaging with a simple, dark aesthetic.
• You want a bulk supply that can double as gift bags and takeout bags for a small business or event.
• You plan to personalize with logos, stamps, or artwork to reinforce branding.

When you might want to skip

• If you require high-waterproofing or moisture resistance beyond what standard kraft paper offers.
• If you need larger capacity or heavier-duty packaging for bulk items.

Practical considerations before buying

• Consider testing a small batch to confirm how your artwork prints or stamps on the bag’s surface.
• Think about storage: bulk packs take space, so plan where you’ll keep unused bags.
• If your use-case includes exposure to moisture, consider protective handling or alternate packaging.

Practical use example

Imagine a small boutique selling handcrafted candles. You wrap a candle in tissue, place it in a black METRONIC bag, attach a logo stamp, and a small thank-you card. The reinforced bottom helps keep the item upright during checkout, and the bags’ dark appearance adds a premium feel to the unboxing.

What you’ll notice in daily use

• Easy to handle thanks to sturdy but comfortable handles.
• Quiet, clean look that suits wedding favors, birthdays, and small retail packaging.
• Ready for DIY touches without needing specialized materials.
