Key takeaways

Each bag measures 16 inches long by 6 inches wide by 12 inches high. The broad rectangular shape accommodates merchandise and larger individual gifts, while the square bottom helps the bag stand upright for loading and display. Braided handles provide a comfortable way to carry purchases or favors, and the reinforced base adds support underneath the contents.

The solid black finish works across different occasions without tying the bag to a particular theme. Use it for retail checkout, gift presentation, wedding favors, party handouts, or restaurant takeout. The pack includes 200 paper bags, making it practical for recurring customer orders or an event with many guests. The kraft paper is recyclable and compostable, these bags are not waterproof, so use them for dry items and handle food or takeout accordingly.

Buyers often praise the bags’ useful size, appearance, and sturdiness for merchandise and gifts. Some also find them thinner than expected, so the intended contents are worth considering when choosing a bag for a particular job.

Who it’s for

These bags suit retailers and small businesses that want a coordinated paper carrier for merchandise, as well as hosts preparing party favors or gifts for a group. Their size is useful when a smaller gift bag would be cramped, while the black color gives a simple, consistent presentation across different products. They can also serve restaurants and food-service settings for takeout, provided the contents and conditions are suitable for paper packaging.

Compared with plastic shopping bags, this kraft paper option is a fit for shoppers and businesses seeking a recyclable, compostable paper format. For an event, the 200-count pack can help keep favors uniform, in a shop, the matching color and size create a consistent handoff for customers.

How to use it

Open the bag and load items over its square base so the contents sit supported at the bottom. Keep the load appropriate for a paper bag, then carry it by the braided handles. For retail, place merchandise inside at checkout, for gifts or party favors, the solid black exterior provides a ready-to-use presentation. When using the bags for takeout, keep them away from moisture because the paper is not waterproof and has no PE film coating.

Is it worth it?

The main advantage is a practical combination of generous dimensions, carry handles, and a reinforced base in a 200-bag pack. That makes the set useful when a business, restaurant, or event needs many matching bags rather than a handful of decorative gift packaging. The neutral black look adapts to merchandise, gifts, and party favors, while recyclable and compostable kraft paper offers a paper-based alternative for everyday carrying. Choose these GSSUSA bags for dry goods and gifting when presentation and repeatable pack quantity matter alongside everyday retail use.
