Medorol Foldable Transport Wheelchair, 300-lb Capacity, All-Terrain PU Tires
Product description
For car trips, appointments, and everyday transfers, this foldable transport wheelchair gives caregivers a portable way to help an adult get around. Its cross-frame design folds down for storage and transport.
The aluminum frame combines a lightweight design with a stated 300-lb weight capacity. A safety belt, locking hand brakes, and anti-tip wheels add practical features for seated travel.
An extra-wide cushioned seat pairs black cowhide leather with breathable mesh. The 12-inch rear wheels and PU tires complete a setup designed for moving between locations.
Size & fit
The extra-wide seat cushion offers added room and support, while the safety belt helps keep the rider positioned in the seat. The wheelchair has a 300-lb weight capacity. Its foldable frame is useful when the chair needs to be stored between outings or loaded for a trip, rather than left set up in one place.
Benefits
For transfers and outings, the hand brakes have easy-grip levers and a locking mechanism. Pulling down the brake plates on both rear wheels locks the chair in place, which is useful when stopping to park or assist the rider. Anti-tip wheels are included to help prevent backward tipping on inclines, and the safety belt helps secure the rider.
The 12-inch rear wheels are described as providing shock absorption, while the PU tires are suited to all-terrain use. Side guards help keep items from slipping off. Together, these details support practical use during transfers and travel, with features for both the rider and the person assisting.
The cross-frame folds compactly, and the backrest folds down from both sides to collapse the chair. That makes it easier to store when it is not in use or prepare it for transport. Customers also commonly highlight the chair’s ease of handling, construction, and folding, with one noting that loading and unloading it from a car is easy.
