MATEIN Mini Backpack, 12.5 x 10.5 x 6 inches

If you want a bag for a full school load, this mini backpack is likely too compact. If your everyday carry is closer to a tablet, wallet, phone, and a few small essentials, its organized layout is more relevant.

The MATEIN mini backpack has several pockets, plus a separate organizer bag for small items. That gives you more ways to keep things sorted than a basic open-compartment daypack.

Its main tradeoff is capacity: it is designed for short outings and light daily carry, not A4 papers or a larger laptop.

Technical details

The backpack measures 12.5 x 10.5 x 6 inches and is made from smooth waterproof polyester with a polyester lining. It has a separate compartment for an 11-inch tablet or another electronic device, a main compartment with zip pockets, and an organizer section with pockets for pens and a key fob hook. A side pocket fits a slim water bottle up to 12 oz.

The set also includes a soft polyester organizer bag for items such as cosmetics, jewelry, cables, or a headset. Other listed details include gold double zippers, a comfort handle, padded shoulder straps, and a detachable bow-knot. The included pouch is a useful extra, though it does not change how much the backpack itself can carry.

Requirements

Think of the device compartment as tablet-sized: the listing specifies an 11-inch device and says a 12.9-inch laptop will not fit. The bag also cannot accommodate A4 documents or books. Those limits matter if you need a work or school bag for full-size papers, textbooks, or a laptop.

For a short shopping trip, you could carry a phone, wallet, sunglasses, a small umbrella, and cosmetics, then use the organizer bag to keep cables or jewelry together. A solid pick if your routine calls for compact, separated storage rather than a full-size backpack. You may want to skip it if your daily load includes larger electronics or full-size documents.

Usage tips

Use the zip pockets and organizer section for items you reach for often, such as keys, pens, and a wallet, and keep smaller accessories in the separate pouch. That layout can make a quick stop or sightseeing outing easier than digging through one large compartment. The padded straps are intended to make the bag comfortable to carry, but the listing does not give a load limit, so it makes sense to keep the contents light.

The material is described as waterproof, but there is no information about a tested rating or protection in prolonged heavy rain. If keeping electronics dry is essential, do not treat that description alone as a substitute for a dedicated rain cover or a more protective bag.

Questions before you buy

Can it hold a laptop? The listing identifies an 11-inch device compartment and says a 12.9-inch laptop will not fit. It does not specify compatibility with other laptop sizes.

Will A4 papers or books fit? The listing says the backpack cannot accommodate A4 documents or books, so it is a poor match for carrying standard-size school or work materials.

What comes in the set? It includes the backpack and an additional soft polyester organizer bag for small personal items and accessories.

Buying verdict

Choose this MATEIN set for compact daily essentials, short-distance outings, or a light sightseeing day when pocket organization and a separate small pouch are useful. Its size and tablet-focused compartment make it a different choice from a full-size school or work backpack. If your regular carry includes a larger laptop, A4 paperwork, or books, a roomier bag is the more practical buy.
