The privacy filter is intended to make the display harder to view from the sides while preserving a clear front-facing view. That makes this style distinct from a standard clear screen protector, which leaves the display open to side viewing. The glass is also described as scratch-resistant, with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties to help resist water and fingerprints during everyday handling. Touch sensitivity is part of the design, so tapping and scrolling remain central to the phone experience.

Usage tips

Use the auto-alignment kit and clean kit to prepare and position the protector on the screen. Applying it to a clean surface helps the adhesive make contact evenly, follow the supplied installation steps to place it straight. The protector is designed for a case-friendly fit, making it suitable for a phone that is used with a case as well as on its own.

For example, during a train ride or while waiting in a crowded lobby, the privacy filter can help reduce side views of personal messages or account details. Its narrow viewing angle targets that need without turning the screen into a matte display: the listed finish is glossy, and the glass is designed for a clear view from the front. Buyers report positive experiences with functionality and ease of application, while feedback varies on alignment, corner adhesion, privacy effectiveness, and durability. The included alignment tool provides a practical aid for setup.

When it makes sense

Choose this format when privacy in shared spaces is a priority alongside everyday screen protection. It suits commuters, travelers, and anyone who checks messages or payment information around other people. A conventional clear protector is the more direct choice when unrestricted side viewing is preferred, DIMONCOAT instead centers the experience on a 23° privacy filter, tempered glass, and case-friendly coverage. A solid pick if you want a two-piece set for an iPhone 18 Pro and a guided installation approach, with the added benefit of a screen designed to limit casual side glances.
