LIORQUE Visual Timer, 60-Minute

When a countdown is easy to miss, a number-only display can mean checking the clock again and again. The LIORQUE visual timer makes the remaining time visible as a shrinking rainbow, so kids and adults can check progress at a glance instead of reading a digital display.

Its dial sets the countdown, and the timer is designed for classrooms, cooking, work sessions, and other activities where a clear endpoint helps. It runs without ticking, with three alarm volume levels and a mute function.

Key specifications

This is a visual countdown timer with a maximum setting of 60 minutes. Turn the knob clockwise to add time and counterclockwise to reduce it. The colored area gives a quick visual cue for how much time remains, while the simple dial avoids having to navigate digital controls.

The timer is described as non-ticking, which can be useful when quiet matters during a lesson, reading, or focused task. When the countdown ends, the alarm volume can be adjusted across three levels or muted. The listing does not provide physical dimensions, so it’s difficult to judge how much desk or counter space it needs without that measurement.

Compared with a digital timer that emphasizes exact numbers, this design prioritizes a visible sense of time passing. That may make it easier to use for a short classroom activity or a kitchen task where a glance is more convenient than reading a screen. It still has a 60-minute limit, so it isn’t intended for longer countdowns.

Who it’s for

This timer may suit parents, teachers, or anyone who wants a visual way to mark the time for a task. For example, a child working through a classroom activity can see the rainbow area get smaller and understand that the session is nearing its end without repeatedly asking how much time is left. It can also be set beside a kitchen work area for a cooking countdown, or used to set a boundary around work, exercise, yoga, or entertainment time.

A solid pick if you want an easy-to-see countdown, a physical knob, and the option to silence the alarm. The listing mentions children and classroom use, but it doesn’t establish that the timer provides any treatment or specific benefit for ADHD. You may want to skip it if you need a countdown longer than 60 minutes or rely on a precise digital readout.

In the box

The package includes the visual timer and two AAA batteries, so the required batteries are supplied. The timer operates on batteries, no other included accessories are specified.

Questions before you buy

How do you set the countdown? Turn the knob clockwise to increase the time or counterclockwise to decrease it.

Can the alarm be silenced? Yes. The timer has three volume levels and a mute function. The instructions describe turning the knob slightly clockwise and then back to zero to turn off the ringer.

Does it make a ticking sound while running? It is described as non-ticking, with almost no running noise. The alarm is a separate consideration and can be adjusted or muted.

Buying verdict

Choose this LIORQUE timer if a visible, color-based countdown is more useful to you than watching changing numbers, especially for classroom routines, short work blocks, or everyday kitchen timing. Its straightforward dial and included batteries keep setup simple, while the volume controls give you some flexibility around the alarm. The tradeoff is the fixed 60-minute maximum and the lack of listed physical dimensions, shoppers who need longer timing or want to confirm an exact counter fit should look for those details before choosing.
