Lifewit LF230188 Triple Laundry Hamper with Lid, 185L, Removable Bags

Three separate compartments make it easier to sort laundry as it collects, while the lid keeps clothes out of sight. The Lifewit LF230188 is a 185L hamper designed for bedrooms, closets, and laundry rooms.

Its three removable bags have handles for carrying laundry to the wash. The hamper also folds flat for storage when it is not in use, and its beige polyester exterior has a solid, modern look.

A single-bin basket keeps laundry together, this setup is more useful when you want to separate loads before wash day. Buyers generally appreciate the room and easy assembly, though reports about sturdiness are mixed.

The three sections can be used to separate lights from darks or clothes from linens, depending on household routines. At 32.3 inches long, the rectangular shape gives laundry a designated place without relying on several separate baskets. The stated capacity may suit shared laundry routines or a household that prefers to collect several loads before washing, the best use of each compartment will depend on the kinds of laundry being sorted.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set up the support rods in their insert tubes and secure the buckles to the corresponding loops. The hamper folds flat for storage, so it can be put away when the compartments are not needed. For laundry day, lift out a bag by its handles rather than carrying the entire hamper.

The care guidance says not to put wet clothes or towels inside and to keep the hamper away from damp areas. Dust can be wiped from the surface with a clean cloth, washing the hamper is not recommended. It’s a great fit if you want covered, in-room sorting and removable bags. It’s not for you if you need a basket for damp laundry or towels.

Buyer feedback often highlights the roomy compartments, straightforward assembly, and usefulness for sorting, including in smaller rooms. Opinions on durability are less consistent: some buyers describe the hamper as sturdy, while others report problems with the supports loosening or parts coming apart. That makes the frame’s stability a practical point to keep in mind when choosing a folding fabric hamper over a more rigid, fixed laundry sorter.

What’s included

The listed components are the hamper body with lid, three removable inner laundry bags, and supporting rods. Assembly is required to put the support rods in place. With the bags removed, each section can be carried separately to the laundry area, while the lid keeps the remaining contents covered.

Should you buy it?

Choose the LF230188 if sorting laundry at the point of collection matters more than having one open bin, and you want the option to fold the hamper flat when it is not in use. Its 185L capacity, covered top, and removable bags combine storage and sorting in one unit. A rigid hamper may better suit someone prioritizing a fixed structure, while this model’s fabric construction and folding design serve a different need. Its documented care limits also make it unsuitable for storing wet clothes or towels.
