KEYIVOX B-88 Digital Piano, 88-Key Hammer Action, USB-MIDI, Retro Wood Finish
Product description
The KEYIVOX B-88 is a full-size digital piano with 88 weighted, hammer-action keys and a retro wood-grain finish. Its keyboard responds to playing pressure, giving learners and practicing pianists a more expressive way to work through pieces.
A French DREAM sound engine, 128-note polyphony, and 128 tones support everything from piano practice to layered sounds in Dual Mode. The included stand and triple-pedal system make it a complete setup for playing at home.
Use the USB-MIDI connection to work with music software or connect to a computer, iPad, or smartphone. Headphone jacks provide options for quieter solo practice and shared teacher-student sessions.
Getting the most from it
The weighted hammer-action keys are central to the B-88’s playing experience. Their dynamic sensitivity responds to finger pressure, making it possible to shape notes as you practice rather than simply triggering a fixed response. For someone learning piano technique, this provides a more piano-like keyboard format than an unweighted, lightweight keyboard.
The sound engine offers 128 tones, while Dual Mode lets you layer sounds. Use the 83 rhythms and 47 demo songs as creative starting points during practice or when exploring ideas. The 128-note polyphony supports sustained and layered passages, and the triple pedal adds sustain, soft, and sostenuto functions for expressive playing.
For a practical home session, connect headphones for private practice, or use the stereo speakers for shared listening. USB-MIDI also lets you connect with supported music software, including MIDI editors and digital audio workstations, for composing, recording, or working on lessons. A built-in 16-track recorder can capture performances for playback and review.

Pros
The B-88 brings together a full-size weighted keyboard, pedals, speakers, and recording features in one digital piano setup. That combination serves both structured learning and creative practice: work on touch and pedal technique, explore different tones, then record a passage to hear it again. The stand and triple pedal are included, so the main playing setup is covered without treating those pieces as separate shopping decisions.
Its connectivity adds flexibility as musical needs change. Use the built-in sounds and speakers for everyday playing, headphones for quieter sessions, or USB-MIDI to bring the keyboard into a computer-based music workflow. The retro wood finish gives the instrument a furniture-inspired look for a home practice space.
