Kenmore 2629182 4.1 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer with Triple Action Agitator

For a household laundry day that includes everyday clothes, towels, and bulky bedding, the Kenmore 2629182 pairs a 4.1 cu. ft. capacity with a Triple Action Agitator. Spraying, wash-basket movement, and agitator action work together to address dirt from different angles, giving mixed household loads a dedicated top-load washer with multiple ways to clean.

Express Wash and AccelaWash add faster-cycle options, while the LED display shows cycle status and remaining time. That combination helps you choose a cycle for the load and see how it is progressing.

The three-part agitation system gives this washer a practical edge over a basic top-loader with a single wash motion: detergent spray targets dirt, the basket moves back and forth, and the agitator circulates clothes. Choose Heavy Duty for tougher loads, Delicates for more delicate fabrics, or a regular cycle for everyday laundry. Dispensers accommodate detergent, bleach, and fabric softener.

Getting the most from it

Use Express Wash for small loads, its stated 28-minute cycle is based on a 3-lb load with the default cycle setting. For full-size loads, AccelaWash is designed to clean up to 14% faster than the stated standard-load comparison. These options make it easier to match cycle choice to the amount of laundry rather than using the same approach every time.

The 4.1 cu. ft. drum can handle clothes, towels, and bulky bedding, with capacity for up to 20 bath towels in one load. For a typical laundry session, sort items by fabric type, select a suitable cycle and temperature, then use the LED status information to follow the wash. Delay Start offers another way to plan when a cycle begins. Buyers have praised the washer’s performance, quiet operation, and roomy drum, feedback on the fabric-softener compartment is mixed, with one buyer wishing it were larger.
