The 40mm dynamic drivers give these wired over-ear headphones a clear, full-range sound for monitoring audio, practicing with an instrument, or listening at home. Soft ear cushions and an adjustable headband help you find a comfortable fit, while the included 3.5mm and 6.35mm connections suit a range of everyday audio setups. Choose a direct wired connection for an amplifier or computer, or a wireless headset when moving around without a cable matters more.

What to know

The JOYO JMH-04 is a lightweight, wired monitor headphone with an over-ear design and sound isolation. Its 40mm drivers are designed for clear audio with rich bass and crisp mids, making it useful for listening to music as well as monitoring a recording or instrument. The 32-ohm impedance and 20–22,000 Hz frequency response are specified for the headset. A 4.1 ft (1.2 m) cable connects to a 3.5mm jack, and a 6.35mm jack is also provided for equipment such as guitar amplifiers and keyboards. The product is listed as compatible with phones, computers, and amplifiers, so it can serve as a single wired headset across different listening and practice settings.

Buyers often praise the sound and describe the headphones as useful for studio recording, some also appreciate the way they reduce outside noise. Comfort feedback is mixed, even though the design includes soft cushions and an adjustable headband. Those features let you adjust the fit for your own listening setup, whether you are working at a desk or practicing with an instrument.

Usage tips

Choose the 3.5mm or 6.35mm connection to match the audio jack on your equipment, then adjust the headband so the over-ear cushions sit comfortably. The wired design suits a stationary listening session, such as monitoring a recording at a computer or playing through an amplifier. For keyboard practice, the 6.35mm connection gives you a direct way to plug into compatible equipment. With a phone or laptop, use the 3.5mm connection when the device has a matching headphone jack.

Tips for day-to-day use

The compact, 191 g design is easy to carry between a home listening area and a practice space. Its 1.2 m cable keeps the connection straightforward for nearby equipment, while the over-ear fit helps create a more focused listening space. Use the adjustable headband to fine-tune how the headphones sit, and select the connector that fits the device you are using. If your routine alternates between music and audio monitoring, the same headset can handle both without switching to a different headphone style.
