JOYIN 15575 47-Inch Hanging Ghost with Purple LED and Timer

At 47 inches, this white hanging ghost adds a noticeable Halloween figure to a porch, doorway, or indoor display. Its purple LED gives the decoration a colored glow after dark.

Bendable arms let you adjust the ghost’s pose, so you can create a floating silhouette from a suitable hanging point or shape its arms for a more dramatic look.

The battery-powered light offers timer and continuous-light settings. Use the timer for a repeating evening display, or choose constant light when you want the ghost illuminated for longer.

What stands out

The combination of a hanging figure, adjustable arms, and purple light brings both shape and color to a Halloween setup. Suspend it from a porch, tree, window, ceiling, or doorway to use vertical space instead of relying only on decorations placed on the ground. Compared with a fixed yard prop, a hanging ghost gives you another way to build an overhead scene around an entrance or party area.

Its light has three button settings: press once to start the timer, which keeps the light on for 6 hours and then off for 18 hours before restarting, press twice for constant light, press three times to turn it off. That gives you a straightforward way to choose between a repeating schedule and continuous illumination.

Worth noting

The decoration is described as waterproof and made with plastic and fabric, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor Halloween displays. It runs on 3 AA batteries, which are not included. Customer feedback is mixed on the apparent size, brightness, and consistency of the lights: some buyers enjoy the ghost’s seasonal effect, while others say it looks smaller or dimmer than expected or report that the lighting did not remain consistent. The listed 47-inch size is a useful reference when planning where to hang it.

How to use it

Insert 3 AA batteries, select the lighting mode with the button, and hang the ghost from a suitable spot. The timer setting is useful when you want the display to follow its on/off cycle, constant light suits a setup where you prefer to control when it is switched off. Shape the bendable arms before hanging to give the figure the pose you want, whether it is positioned by an entryway, above a party space, or as part of a home haunt.

For an outdoor arrangement, choose a hanging location that makes the figure visible as guests approach. Indoors, a doorway or window can frame the ghost as part of a larger Halloween scene. Its hanging format also works alongside ground-level decorations to add height and variety to the display.

Buying verdict

JOYIN’s 15575 is a practical pick for adding a lighted, hanging ghost to a Halloween scene without relying on a static ground display. The 47-inch figure, poseable arms, purple LED, and selectable timer or constant-light mode give you several ways to place and present it. Choose it for a porch, entry, patio, or indoor haunt where an overhead ghost can contribute color and character to the seasonal setup.
