jinchan JINCHAN Curtains, 50 x 84-Inch Light-Filtering Linen-Blend Drapes

For rooms where you want softened daylight and daytime privacy, these jinchan curtains use an unlined, light-filtering linen blend. The set includes two panels, each 50 inches wide and 84 inches long. Back tabs and a rod pocket give you two ways to hang them. They filter light rather than block it completely, so they are not a blackout option.

What stands out

The fabric is a blend of 25% linen and 75% polyester, with a plain weave and a relaxed, natural-looking texture. Its lightweight drape suits a casual farmhouse, cottage, or minimalist room without making the window treatment the main visual feature. The listed color is off-white, a neutral choice for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, home offices, and kitchens.

Because the panels are unlined, sunlight can still enter while the curtains are closed. The product is intended to provide daytime privacy, not complete darkness or guaranteed privacy after dark. That distinction matters if you are choosing between these and lined or blackout curtains: this set is better suited to a bright, softly filtered room than to blocking most incoming light.

Highlights

Each panel measures 50 inches wide by 84 inches long, for 100 inches of combined panel width. The provided sizing guidance recommends a combined width around 1.5–2 times the window width for fuller folds, so consider the window size and the look you want when deciding whether two panels are enough. They fit a curtain rod up to 1.5 inches in diameter. The back tabs or rod pocket let you choose between the two listed hanging methods.

A practical setting would be a bedroom where morning sun feels too direct but a darkened room is not the goal, or a living room where you want a simple fabric layer over a window. Buyers describe the appearance and linen-like texture positively, and some say the panels let in light while maintaining privacy. Feedback on length is mixed, though, with some finding it suitable and others saying it seemed short or uneven. Measure from the rod to the intended curtain hem before choosing this length.

How to take care of it

The care instructions allow machine washing in cold water, with similar colors and no bleach. Tumble dry on low heat, use a low iron to address creases, or steam the fabric. These instructions make the panels a reasonable fit for a room where washable curtains are useful, but the fabric is not water resistant, so they are not intended as a protective barrier against moisture.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a pair of neutral, linen-blend panels that soften incoming light and offer daytime privacy, with a choice of back-tab or rod-pocket hanging. Their unlined construction and 84-inch length are important buying details: choose another approach if you need blackout coverage, and compare the stated length with your rod height if the curtains must reach a particular point. If you prioritize a relaxed fabric look over full light blocking, this set offers a straightforward way to dress a window without adding a heavy lined layer.
