Jiesxyii Hummingbird Feeder 16 oz

How to use it

The red glass bottle gives this hummingbird feeder a flower-like look, while five flower-shaped ports and a circular perch create several places to feed. Its 16 oz capacity and transparent body also make it easier to see how much nectar remains, so you can check levels without opening the feeder.

A screw-on metal base and silicone gasket are intended to help limit spills.

For setup, fill the wide-mouth bottle, secure the base, and hang it in a garden, on a deck, or on a balcony. The product description recommends a mix of white sugar and clean water at a 1:4 ratio, it warns that other sweeteners may clog the flower ports. What matters more to you: a simple feeder you can refill quickly, or a decorative glass design with several feeding spots?

Pros

• Five flower-shaped ports and a circular perch give multiple hummingbirds a place to feed at the same time.
• The red glass is decorative, and its transparency makes nectar levels and freshness easier to monitor.
• The wide opening is useful when filling and cleaning, while the 16 oz capacity means less frequent topping up than a smaller feeder may require.
• A metal screw-on base and silicone gasket are designed to reduce nectar spills, including when birds perch.

The main tradeoff is that the listing gives no actual dimensions, even though it notes that the widest dimension is used for size reference. If you have a tight hanging spot, you may not be able to judge the fit from the information provided. Glass also makes this a different choice from a basic plastic feeder: it offers a more decorative, transparent look, but buyers prioritizing a simpler, less breakable style may prefer another approach. The product description says the glass has scratch and impact resistance, but that is not a reason to treat it as unbreakable.

Worth considering if you want a visible nectar level, a red glass accent, and more than one feeding port. It’s not for you if you need confirmed measurements before choosing a spot, or would rather have a plain feeder with fewer decorative details.

The clear bottle is practical for a quick check before you head outside: you can see whether nectar needs attention without taking the feeder down. The wide mouth should also make routine filling and cleaning more straightforward. However, the listing does not provide a complete dimension or weight, so it is harder to assess clearance, handling, or storage before buying.

Should you buy it?

Choose this feeder if the combination of glass, a red finish, multiple ports, and an easy-to-check nectar level fits your outdoor space. Its design is aimed at people who want a feeder to work as a small garden or patio detail as well as a feeding point. The larger listed capacity may also suit someone who prefers fewer refills, though how long it lasts will depend on bird activity.

If your decision hinges on exact fit, a stated size, or a less fragile material, the available details leave a real gap. For a decorative feeder with a wide opening and several places to feed, the Jiesxyii has a clear use case, for a purely utilitarian setup where dimensions or ruggedness come first, look for those details before settling on this one.
