Jabra Wireless Headset Evolve2 85

Best use cases

For remote workers and office callers who also want one headset for music, the Jabra Evolve2 85 combines a hidden boom arm with wireless listening. It’s optimized for Microsoft Teams, with a plug-and-play experience using the included USB-C adapter.

That mix suits a workday that shifts from a Teams call to focused listening and back again. The foldable boom arm can tuck away when you want a more casual look.

If you take calls in a busy room, would stronger noise cancellation and a dedicated mic setup make a difference? Jabra says the improved ANC cancels 54% more surrounding noise, while ten built-in microphones are intended to support clear calls.

Product specs

The headline details are tailored to a work headset that doubles as music headphones:

• Connection: Wireless, with an included Jabra Link 380c Bluetooth adapter using USB-C
• Platform: Optimized for Microsoft Teams, the product description also says it works with leading Unified Communications platforms
• Audio: 40mm speakers for calls and music
• Microphones: Ten built-in microphones and a foldable, hidden boom arm
• Noise control and comfort: Improved ANC and enhanced memory foam padding
• Battery: Up to 37 hours on a charge, a 15-minute charge is stated to provide up to 8 hours of use
• Design: Black, with durable, premium materials

The battery figures are maximum claims, not a promise of the same runtime in every pattern of use. Also, the product details don’t provide headband or ear-cup measurements, so anyone who needs a precise fit should think carefully without that measurement.

Where it shines

The appeal is having call-focused features without wearing a visibly business-only headset all day. When a meeting starts, the boom arm gives you a microphone positioned for calls, when work winds down, it folds away for a less formal look. The stated 40mm speakers also make this a more versatile pick than a headset bought strictly for meetings.

You’ll appreciate it if you move between Teams calls, other work communication, and music, and want wireless listening with a long stated battery life. Memory foam padding and ANC point toward longer or noisier work sessions, although the description doesn’t specify how much outside sound remains audible in different environments.

A simpler call-only headset may make more sense if you don’t need music playback, ANC, or the fold-away boom arm. And while USB-C is included for the Bluetooth adapter, this listing doesn’t give device-specific compatibility details beyond its platform claims.

Is it worth it?

The Evolve2 85 has a clear case if your headset needs to cover both professional calls and everyday listening: it brings together a hidden boom arm, ANC, ten microphones, and a substantial stated battery life. The Teams-focused setup is particularly relevant if that’s where your work calls happen.

Better avoided if you mainly need a basic headset for occasional calls, prefer a lighter feature set, or must choose by exact fit measurements that aren’t listed. Its strongest reason to buy is the combination of work-call hardware and music use—not any single spec in isolation.
