INSOON SC6602 2026 Gingerbread Advent Calendar Building Set, 24 Ornaments

The 24 numbered boxes turn the Christmas countdown into a daily building activity, with a surprise gingerbread-themed ornament to open and assemble each day. Matching instructions help make each reveal a hands-on project for kids ages 6 and up.

The finished models bring the activity into holiday decorating: each has a hanging loop for displaying on a tree, wreath, window, or mantel. The 3.6mm mini bricks create a more detailed building experience than standard-size blocks.

Worth noting

This 2026 advent calendar includes 24 individually numbered gift boxes, designed to be opened one per day starting December 1. The collection draws on classic Christmas characters and decorations, with designs such as a snowman, Santa, nutcracker, baker, gingerbread house, Christmas tree, and train. The daily format gives kids a small, festive project to look forward to, while the completed builds become part of the season’s decorations.

The set uses 3.6mm mini bricks, which are smaller than standard building blocks and are not compatible with major building block brands. That compact format supports detailed designs and offers a distinct building experience. The bricks are made of ABS, and the set includes instructions for the numbered packs. Finished ornaments measure about 3.3 inches tall, making them suited to tree displays and other holiday arrangements.

Practical tips

Open the boxes in numerical order, beginning December 1, to follow the intended 24-day countdown. Keep each pack’s matching instructions nearby while building so the daily model is easy to identify and assemble. Once a model is complete, use its hanging loop to add it to a Christmas tree or another festive display. Keeping the ornaments together after the season also makes it easier to bring the collection back for future holiday decorating.

Tips for day-to-day use

A simple routine works well: open the day’s box, build the revealed design, then choose a place to display it. The numbered packs give the activity a natural daily stopping point, while the variety of Christmas characters and scenes helps the collection tell a playful holiday story as it grows. For a family activity, children can build while others help choose where each ornament belongs.

Compared with an advent calendar centered on a daily treat, this set pairs the countdown with a creative task and a decoration to keep. It can also serve as a hands-on alternative to buying ready-made ornaments when the aim is to make decorating part of the activity. The mini bricks are smaller than standard blocks, so use the instructions for this set rather than expecting compatibility with major building block brands.
