Ikarao Shell S2 Portable Karaoke Machine with Lyrics Screen, 2 Wireless Mics

Technical overview

Bring karaoke to a family gathering, birthday, or backyard get-together with a portable system that puts lyrics and controls on its built-in screen. The Ikarao Shell S2 pairs a display for following songs with two wireless microphones, so singers can get started without making a TV the center of the setup. When you want a larger viewing area, connect it to a TV through HDMI.

Wi-Fi supports access to karaoke apps including KaraFun, YouTube, and Smule, while Bluetooth lets the unit also serve as a speaker for audio from a compatible device. Its built-in handle makes it easier to move between rooms or take along for an outdoor gathering. Compared with a karaoke setup that depends on a TV for lyrics, the Shell S2 has its own display for a more self-contained sing-along, with HDMI available when you want lyrics on a bigger screen.

Usage tips

Choose a song through the karaoke apps and follow the lyrics on the built-in screen. For a group performance, the two wireless microphones let singers share a song, return them to their storage slots after use, where they charge. The microphones also offer eight sound effects and EQ adjustments, with independent controls for each mic. Buyer feedback is positive about the sound and use at family gatherings, and some appreciate carrying the compact unit for trips. Reports about microphone charging are mixed, making it useful to check that the mics are seated in their charging slots after singing.

For a TV-based session, connect the machine by HDMI, for a more portable setup, use the screen on the unit and its battery power. Bluetooth provides another way to play audio, making the speaker useful beyond karaoke time. The built-in handle helps when moving it from a living room to a patio, campsite, or party space.
