Hykolity WHC-0318 50,000 BTU Propane Patio Heater with Stainless Steel Burner
Product description
At 50,000 BTU, the Hykolity WHC-0318 brings adjustable radiant heat to outdoor spaces, with coverage of up to 200 sq. ft. Its double-layer 304 stainless steel burner mesh and umbrella-style reflector are designed to spread warmth across the area.
One-press ignition makes startup straightforward, and the adjustable control valve lets you set the heat level for the gathering. Built-in wheels make it easier to move the heater between outdoor seating areas.
A conical base and adjustable water tank help provide stability. The tank can be weighted with up to 26.45 lbs., while tip-over protection shuts off the flame if the heater tilts more than 45°.
Why it’s worth it
This heater combines substantial heat output with mobility, so it can serve a patio seating area, backyard gathering, balcony, or tailgate setup without being fixed to one spot. Compared with a stationary outdoor heating approach, the built-in wheels make it easier to reposition warmth where people are gathered. The adjustable control valve also gives you a direct way to change the heat level as the occasion or outdoor conditions change.
The double-layer 304 stainless steel burner mesh is a defining feature of the design, while the umbrella-style reflector helps distribute heat more evenly. For an evening outdoors, that combination supports a shared seating area rather than focusing the heater on a single spot. Buyers commonly praise the heat output, outdoor effectiveness, and ease of assembly. Feedback on build quality, value, and ease of use is mixed, so those impressions vary between customers.
