Hongkee 20x28 Picture Frame, Black Rustic MDF with Mat and Plexiglass

When you want to display a large print but also value flexibility in the image size, this Hongkee frame offers two formats in one wall-mounted design. Use it for a 20 x 28 picture without the mat, or display a 16 x 24 picture with the included mat. Its black, rustic wood-style finish gives photos, artwork, and posters a defined border for a range of rooms.

The frame can hang vertically or horizontally, so you can match its orientation to the image and the available wall space.

Highlights

Built from MDF with a textured, rustic wood-style surface, the frame brings a warm, traditional look to a gallery wall or a single focal point. The matte black finish pairs naturally with family photographs, landscape prints, drawings, certificates, and other artwork. Its cover is HD plexiglass rather than traditional glass, providing a shatter-resistant alternative for displaying pieces around the home.

Choose the format that works for the image: a 20 x 28 picture displayed without a mat, or a 16 x 24 picture displayed with the mat. The mat opening is intentionally slightly smaller than the picture size to help hold the image in place. Which orientation best suits your wall? Hang the frame vertically or horizontally to accommodate portrait and landscape layouts. Overall dimensions are 21.7 x 29.7 x 0.7 inches.

Buyers often praise the frame’s appearance and describe a good fit for their display projects. Feedback on material and color is more varied, making the stated MDF construction and black finish useful details to consider when choosing a frame.

Tips for day-to-day use

Match the picture to the display format before hanging: use a 20 x 28 image without the mat, or a 16 x 24 image with it. Position the frame vertically or horizontally according to the image, then choose a wall location where its overall dimensions can be appreciated. The two format choices make it practical to coordinate different prints while keeping a consistent frame style in a room.

Who it’s for

This frame is suited to anyone looking to display a poster, artwork, family photo, landscape, or document on the wall in a substantial format. It works for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and other spaces where a black, rustic-style border can complement the surrounding decor. The included mat offers a more framed presentation for a 16 x 24 image, while the larger opening accommodates a 20 x 28 picture without it.

It suits you if you want wall-mounting flexibility and a choice between two picture sizes rather than a frame limited to one display format. It can also make a thoughtful gift for occasions such as a graduation, wedding, birthday, or anniversary, especially when paired with a meaningful image.

Is it worth it?

For shoppers choosing between a simple single-format frame and a versatile wall display, the two size options are a practical reason to consider this one. The textured black MDF frame, included mat, plexiglass cover, and vertical or horizontal hanging provide clear ways to tailor the presentation to the image and room. It’s a useful fit for posters, prints, photographs, and artwork that deserve a prominent place on the wall.
