Hipubby HB-Dog Harness XS Dog Harness and Leash Set, Reflective Mesh

For a short neighborhood walk with a small dog, the Hipubby HB-Dog Harness set pairs an XS step-in vest with a matching leash. The harness is made of nylon air mesh and has reflective strips. Its listed fit is specific, so use your pet’s measurements to judge whether XS is appropriate.

What matters most

This set includes a step-in harness and a 5-foot leash, which makes it a coordinated option for someone who wants both pieces together rather than choosing them separately. The harness is described as lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying, while 360° reflective strips are listed on both the harness and leash for added visibility in low-light conditions. The leash also has a padded handle.

The XS guide gives a neck girth of 10.5–12 inches and a chest girth of 12.5–14 inches. Those measurements are more useful for choosing a size than the XS label alone. Customer feedback is generally positive about fit and ease of putting the harness on and taking it off, though opinions on closure and adjustability are mixed. Buyers also give mixed feedback on durability, including reports of rings pulling out of the fabric, so that point matters if the harness will see frequent or energetic use.

Best use cases

The set is intended for small dogs and is also described as suitable for cats. Its step-in layout is relevant for pets that are more comfortable having a vest guided over their paws than having a harness pulled over the head. For a routine walk, the matching leash means there is no need to select a separate lead to complete the set. Compared with buying a basic harness alone, this package adds a leash and reflective detailing, shoppers who already own a preferred leash may care less about that bundled feature.

A solid pick if your pet’s neck and chest measurements fall within the XS guide and you want a step-in mesh vest with a matching leash. It’s not for you if your pet falls outside those listed measurements, another size or fit would be a more suitable starting point.

Practical tips

Measure both neck and chest girth before choosing XS, then compare the results with the size guide rather than relying on breed or weight alone. The product description says to guide the paws through the openings and secure the harness. It mentions Velcro straps, while the specifications list a buckle closure, so the fastening details are not presented consistently. Check the item’s actual closure and fit before relying on it for a walk, and make sure the harness sits securely without assuming that reflective strips replace other low-light precautions.

The air-mesh construction is described as quick-drying, but no specific washing or care instructions are provided. Follow any care guidance supplied with the item rather than assuming a cleaning method. Buyer feedback also varies on sturdiness and closure, which is worth keeping in mind when deciding how much regular use to expect from the set.

What to clarify

What measurements does XS cover? The listed guide is a 10.5–12-inch neck girth and a 12.5–14-inch chest girth. Measure your pet before selecting this size.

What comes with the harness? The set includes a step-in harness and a matching 5-foot leash.

How does the harness fasten? The description refers to Velcro straps, while the specifications name a buckle closure. The available product details do not resolve that difference.

Is it worth it?

This set makes sense when the XS measurements suit your pet and you want a mesh vest and leash together, with reflective strips on both pieces. The step-in format and reported ease of use may appeal to someone looking for a straightforward walking setup. The main trade-off is uncertainty around fastening and durability: buyer opinions are mixed, including reports of rings pulling out of the fabric. If those details are decisive for your pet’s walks, consider whether a harness with clearer closure information or more consistent durability feedback better fits your needs.
