Hidreas Halloween Wooden Ornaments, 60-Piece Set

For families, teachers, and Halloween hosts looking for a hands-on decoration activity, this kit offers unfinished wooden shapes to paint, write on, and hang. The assortment includes six Halloween designs, from pumpkins and ghosts to spiders, skulls, castles, and “trick or treat” pieces. Each cutout has a hole and comes with a piece of twine, so the finished decorations can move from the craft table to a door, window, or tree. You’ll need to provide your own decorating supplies, paints and other materials aren’t listed as included.

How to use it

Set out the cutouts with whatever paints or writing tools you already use for crafts, then let each person personalize a few designs. For example, a child could paint a pumpkin, add a name or short message, and thread the included twine through the hole before hanging it near a doorway. That makes the kit useful not just for party décor, but also for handmade gift tags or cards, as described in the product details.

Would a ready-made decoration be faster? Sure—but these pieces are for people who want the making to be part of the Halloween activity. The unfinished surfaces leave room for individual designs, while the attached hanging option helps turn the project into something you can display. It may not suit you if you need decorations that are already painted and ready to hang, or if you don’t have separate craft supplies on hand.

Pros

• Six different Halloween motifs give a group more variety than a pack of identical shapes.
• The listing describes the natural wood cutouts as laser-cut, polished, and sanded on both sides.
• Each ornament has a hole, and the kit includes matching twine for hanging.
• The pieces can be used for decorations as well as DIY gift tags and cards.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a simple shared craft for a family Halloween activity, classroom project, or party prep. The unfinished format also gives kids room to make each piece their own instead of using the same finished decoration throughout the space. One practical limitation: since decorating supplies aren’t specified as part of the kit, the wood pieces and twine alone won’t make a complete painting activity.

Spec sheet

• Name: Hidreas Halloween wooden ornaments
• Type: Unfinished wood craft kit
• Capacity: 60 ornaments and 60 twine ropes
• Format: Six Halloween styles
• Material: Natural wood
• Details: Laser-cut, polished, sanded on both sides, with a hole in each piece

The spec sheet names the six motifs as pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, skulls, castles, and “trick or treat.” It doesn’t provide individual ornament dimensions, so the listing alone can’t tell you how large they’ll look on a door or window. If size matters for your display, that missing detail is worth weighing before you choose this set over pre-sized, ready-made décor.

Final verdict

This kit makes sense when the goal is an activity as much as a Halloween decoration: the range of shapes supports a group project, and the included twine gives finished pieces a straightforward way to hang. It’s a better fit for shoppers happy to bring their own paint or writing supplies than for anyone expecting a fully equipped craft kit or polished décor out of the package. The lack of stated dimensions is another reason to choose it for flexible craft use rather than a display that depends on a particular ornament size.
