Heybly HCT033G 78.7-Inch Cat Tree with 5 Levels and Plush Perches

At 78.7 inches tall, this indoor cat tree combines engineered wood, plush fabric, and sisal in a vertical setup for climbing, scratching, and resting. Its five levels include two widened top perches, a large cave, a basket, and a hammock, giving cats several different places to settle or move between.

The smoky gray tower has a 19.7-by-15.7-inch footprint. That makes the layout notably tall relative to its base, so consider both the available floor space and where the tree will sit before choosing it.

Usage tips

Plan to place the tower on a level indoor surface, and use the included anti-tip kit as directed. The manufacturer also suggests positioning it against a wall or using anti-tip straps to add stability, particularly if multiple cats may use it at the same time. Assembly instructions and tools are included, and the manufacturer says the components are labeled to make setup easier.

Think about how your cat prefers to spend time: does it tend to climb, scratch, hide, or watch from above? The stepped levels support climbing, while the cave, basket, and hammock provide distinct places for resting or retreating. The two top perches have padded edges and interiors, their listed sizes are 19.7 by 11.8 inches and 15.7 by 9.8 inches. Those measurements are useful when judging whether the resting spots suit your cat’s size and preferred lounging position.

Benefits

This design offers more than a basic scratching post. Sisal-wrapped posts and a wide scratching board give cats designated surfaces for scratching, while the elevated perches and enclosed or suspended resting areas add variety without requiring separate pieces of furniture. You’ll appreciate it if your indoor cat uses different spots for play, naps, and taking in the room from above.

Buyer feedback is favorable about assembly and perceived stability, and some owners value the tower’s height. Opinions on size are mixed, however: some find it roomy enough for their cats, while others describe the structure or perches as narrow. Reports about complexity also differ. That makes the listed dimensions and perch sizes more useful than relying on general descriptions of the tree as spacious. Sisal is also a wear surface, the manufacturer notes that it can wear with use.

Final verdict

If you prioritize a tall, multi-activity setup, this Heybly tower brings climbing, scratching, and several resting styles together in one piece. It may suit a home that has room for a narrow-footprint, vertical structure and a cat that likes elevated spots. Better avoided if you need broad lounging platforms: buyer feedback on the size is divided, and the listed perch dimensions offer a concrete way to assess that trade-off. For a simpler need, a standalone scratching post takes up a different, less multi-level approach, this tower makes more sense when the added perches and hideaways are part of the plan.
