Taoqimiao Cat Tree 76.8in

The 76.8-inch height gives this Taoqimiao cat tree room for climbing, scratching, and resting across multiple levels. It’s designed with large cats in mind, with a wide base, reinforced posts, seven sisal scratching posts, a hammock, two houses, and two perches. That variety can help create separate spots for a cat to climb up to, tuck away in, or settle down. One practical limitation: the product details don’t list a weight capacity or the base dimensions, so you can’t confirm from the listed information whether it suits a particular cat or floor space.

Key specifications

This is a tall, multi-level cat tower with a large base and reinforced posts. Its scratching surfaces use natural sisal, while the covering is described as soft, non-shedding, high-density plush rated at 400g. The structure uses CARB P2 particleboard, which the product description characterizes as odor-free and safe. Those material details point to a mix of scratching texture and cushioned resting areas, though the listed information doesn’t provide independent durability testing or a weight rating.

At 76.8 inches tall, it needs a spot with enough vertical clearance, and its larger-cat focus makes footprint worth considering before you bring it home. The base is described as extra large, but no measurements are given. If you’re choosing between a compact scratcher and a full climbing structure, this one prioritizes more levels and destinations over a small footprint.

Who it’s for

It suits you if your cat likes to climb, scratch, and move between elevated resting spots, and you have room for a tall tower. A multi-cat household may also appreciate having two houses and two perches rather than a single bed or platform, although the listing doesn’t specify how many cats it can support at once. From the way it is set up, it’s aimed at owners looking for a substantial activity and resting station, not a simple post to tuck beside a chair.

You may want to skip it if you need a compact unit, need confirmed dimensions for a tight corner, or want a stated weight limit before buying for a particularly large cat. Those details aren’t included in the product information.

What you get

The listed setup includes seven scratching posts, one large hammock, two houses, and two perches arranged across multiple levels. That gives a cat options for different parts of the day: a quick scratch on the sisal, a climb to a perch, or a quieter retreat in one of the enclosed houses. The plush covering adds a softer surface to the structure, while the posts offer a different texture for scratching.

A realistic use case is placing it in a room where your cat already likes to watch activity from above: the different levels provide several spots to pause without relying on one top platform. The tradeoff is that a tower this tall and feature-rich calls for more floor and vertical space than a basic scratching post. The provided details don’t say whether assembly tools or instructions are included, so don’t assume extras beyond the listed components.

Questions before you buy

Does it include scratching surfaces? Yes. The product listing specifies seven posts covered with natural sisal.

Are there enclosed resting spots? The listed configuration has two houses, along with a large hammock and two perches.

Is there a weight limit for large cats? No weight capacity is provided in the supplied details. The tower is marketed for large cats, but that alone doesn’t confirm a safe fit for a specific cat’s weight.

Should you buy it?

Choose this tower if your priority is giving a cat several climbing, scratching, and lounging options in one tall structure, and you have room for its substantial footprint. Its seven sisal posts and mix of houses, hammock, and perches make it more activity-focused than a basic scratcher. Pass if you need exact footprint measurements or a verified weight rating to make the purchase decision, neither is listed, and those omissions matter when space or a large cat’s size is a deciding factor.
