The magnetic catch is designed to hold a door open against everyday movement, and its soft-catch action helps limit hard impacts. That can be useful for keeping a bedroom or kitchen door in place while you carry items through, or for letting air circulate without a door swinging shut. The black, modern finish suits a range of interiors, including homes, offices, hotels, bathrooms, and kitchens.

How to use it

Select a placement that brings the magnetic parts together when the door is open, then install using screws or the adhesive pads. Screws provide a more permanent mounting approach, adhesive pads offer a no-drill option. The product is described for use with wood, glass, metal, and plastic doors, with mounting positions that can include the floor, wall, door top, or an area near the handle. Choose the location based on the door’s movement and the surface available, so the catch can engage when the door reaches its open position.

For a practical setup, place a stop where a frequently used door tends to swing closed, such as a bedroom or office doorway. A magnetic catch holds the door in position, while the soft contact helps protect the door and nearby surfaces from repeated impacts. Buyers often praise the set’s usefulness, sturdy feel, appearance, and straightforward installation. Feedback is more mixed on magnetic strength and how well the adhesive holds, so the screw option is available when a more permanent installation is preferred.

What’s included

The set includes six magnetic door stops. Use them across several doors in one space, or place them in different rooms to create a consistent way to hold doors open. Having multiple stops can be especially practical in a home or workplace where doors are often left open for ventilation, moving items, or everyday access.

Is it worth it?

This six-pack is a practical fit for anyone looking to add magnetic door catches to several areas rather than choosing a single standalone stop. Stainless steel construction, a modern black finish, soft-catch action, and two installation approaches bring together useful function and a coordinated look. It works well for everyday spaces where keeping a door open and reducing hard slams are the priorities.
