Happy Hippo 222 Glow-in-the-Dark Ceiling Stars with Bonus Moon

With 223 pieces, this glow-in-the-dark set gives you 222 stars in different sizes and a bonus moon to arrange across a bedroom ceiling or wall. The varied star sizes make it easy to create a wide sky-inspired display or a smaller arrangement around a child’s bed.

Included putty lets you attach the pieces to a wall or ceiling, turning an ordinary bedroom surface into bedtime décor without needing a separate adhesive.

Technical overview

The set combines glow-in-the-dark stars with a moon for a coordinated night-sky theme. Its 222 stars can be spread across a larger area, grouped into clusters, or arranged with the moon as a focal point. Use the included putty to attach the pieces to the chosen surface.

Rather than relying on one large decorative feature, this set lets you create a personalized layout with many individual stars. It can also be divided for party favors or used as a small astronomy-themed activity: children can arrange the pieces while talking about stars, constellations, the Big Dipper, the moon, Earth, and planets.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a bedtime display, place the stars and moon on the ceiling above the bed or along a bedroom wall. Try laying out the design before attaching the pieces, so you can decide whether to make a scattered sky, a close cluster, or a moon-and-stars arrangement. The included putty is intended for attaching the décor without damaging the home or paint.

The set also suits birthday bags and boxes, seasonal decorations, and other small party favors. You can divide the stars among several favors and keep the moon as a standout piece for the birthday child. For an educational activity, use the different-sized stars to build a simple sky-themed arrangement and introduce astronomy topics as you decorate.

Usage tips

Choose the wall or ceiling area for the display, then use the included putty to secure the pieces. Keep the small stars out of reach of children who may put them in their mouths: some stars are small and can pose a choking hazard. The product should only be handled by children over four with adult supervision.

Final verdict

This set is a practical fit for families looking to add glow-in-the-dark, sky-themed décor to a child’s bedroom while keeping room for a hands-on decorating activity. Its 222 varied-size stars, bonus moon, and included putty support a display that can be arranged on a wall or ceiling, or portions of the set can be shared as party favors.
