Handwell 988-838A1 Christmas Tree Toy Set with Light-Up Musical Star and DIY Train Track

A color-changing, light-up star turns this Christmas tree toy into a festive play centerpiece, while its sounds and lullabies add an engaging sensory element. Kids can decorate the tree, arrange the tracks, and set the train in motion.

The Handwell My First Christmas Tree set brings seasonal decorating and hands-on play together. Colorful ornaments and roly-poly characters give little ones pieces to handle and arrange as they play.

Six track sections can be put together in different routes, so the train play can change with each setup. Could a holiday decoration also become a train activity? This set makes room for both.

Pros

The play moves from decorating to building: children can place the star, arrange ornaments, and connect track sections for the train. These activities offer opportunities to practice color recognition, fine motor skills, imagination, and concentration through play. The changing star lights and sounds add another point of interest, while its adjustable volume lets families set the sound level.

Buyers often praise the set’s play value and ease of assembly, and mention the train and ornaments as engaging details. Some report that ornaments can come loose during play, and opinions on overall value vary. This feedback can help set expectations for a play set that combines display and interactive features.

Key features

The set is made of ABS plastic and includes a Christmas tree, a light-up musical star, colorful decorations, roly-poly toys, trains, and track pieces. The star changes color and features five natural sounds and five lullabies. Its projected star and moon shapes add a soft festive detail to the play space.

The DIY track uses six sections that can be arranged into different routes, including curved and S-shaped layouts. Children can build a route, place the train on the track, and change the setup for another round of play. The tree can also serve as a seasonal decoration in a living room or bedroom when it is not being used for play.

Getting the most from it

Follow the included assembly instructions to set up the tree and place the star on top. Then let kids arrange the ornaments and choose a route for the train using the six track sections. Changing between decorating and track building offers more than one way to engage with the set during a holiday gathering or a quiet play session.

The star is battery powered and requires two AA batteries. Its touch control and adjustable volume make it easy to operate as part of the play setup.
