HakkTaoo iPhone 15 Pro Max Case

When you want your iPhone 15 Pro Max protected without giving up a hands-free way to watch videos, this HakkTaoo case combines a sliding camera cover with a rotating ring stand. Its layered TPU-and-PC construction is designed to absorb impacts, while the raised screen edge and included glass protectors add another barrier around the display. You also get a ring for a more secure grip and a stand that turns for portrait or landscape viewing. The trade-off to know up front: the metal ring means the case does not support wireless charging.

Best use cases

This case is aimed at iPhone 15 Pro Max owners who want camera-lens coverage, screen protection, and a built-in stand in one accessory. The sliding cover can help keep the camera lenses from getting scratched or scuffed when the phone is in a bag or set down, and the ring stand can prop the phone up for a video while you’re eating or working at a desk. Rotate it to change between vertical and horizontal viewing.

You’ll appreciate it if you regularly use a stand or want a ring to help hold your phone. The metal patch on the back is also intended to attach to a magnetic car mount, which can be useful for navigation. If you rely on wireless charging, though, this design calls for a different case: the maker specifically notes that the metal ring prevents that function.

Product specs

The case is made for the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display and is not listed as compatible with other devices. Its double-layer build combines TPU and PC, with a flexible TPU interior and a sliding camera cover. A built-in ring stand rotates 360° and supports vertical and horizontal viewing. The raised screen lip is 2 mm, and the package includes one case, two tempered-glass screen protectors, and two cleaning kits.

The maker describes the case as military-grade and reports testing it through more than 8,000 drops from up to 12 feet. That’s a manufacturer claim, not a reason to assume the phone is damage-proof, the case is still a protective layer, not a guarantee against every fall. Its precise cutouts are intended to leave the buttons, cameras, speakers, and ports accessible, but the fit is specific to the 15 Pro Max.

Where it shines

The appeal is convenience as much as protection. For example, you can slide the camera cover shut before putting your phone away, then open it and rotate the ring to prop up the screen when you want to follow a video hands-free. The included protectors and cleaning kits mean you have screen-protection accessories in the package, rather than needing to source those separately.

Compared with a simpler, lighter case, this one brings more built-in functions: a camera cover, a grip ring, and a rotating stand. That extra hardware may be worthwhile if you’ll use those features, if you mainly want a minimal case or need wireless charging, a design without a metal ring is a better match. It may not suit you if you use a different iPhone model, since no other device compatibility is stated.

Is it worth it?

This HakkTaoo case makes sense for someone who wants several practical features together and is comfortable charging without wireless charging. The included glass protectors, lens cover, and adjustable stand give it a more function-focused approach than a basic protective shell. The main compromise is clear: the ring’s usefulness comes with a charging limitation, and the case is restricted to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Choose it if the stand and camera cover will earn their space on your phone, skip it if wireless charging or a simpler profile matters more.
