Greenworks 24V Bluetooth Speaker

For music in a garage, workshop, or other spot where a phone can stay nearby, a wireless speaker with its own battery can be easier to place than one that needs to stay plugged in.

The Greenworks 24V Bluetooth Speaker pairs with Bluetooth-enabled phones, tablets, and other devices. Its included battery and charger give you the parts needed to use the battery-powered setup.

It also has USB-A and USB-C ports for charging personal devices, adding a practical use beyond playback.

Key points

The speaker is listed as a 50W wireless model, with two passive radiators, two tweeters, and one 50W woofer. That combination is intended to handle music playback from a connected device, though the product details don’t specify sound coverage or how it performs in a large or noisy space. If you’re choosing between a simple speaker for one room and a system built for a wider listening area, the latter may suit you better for group settings.

Bluetooth pairing keeps the audio source separate from the speaker, while the built-in USB-A and USB-C ports can charge phones, tablets, and other devices. The product also describes AC/DC dual modes and wireless linking with up to 99 other Greenworks Bluetooth speakers. That linking feature is most relevant if you already use compatible speakers or expect to build a multi-speaker setup, it may be unnecessary for straightforward listening from one device.

Keep in mind that the listed details don’t give a specific playback time, and the battery claims of 20% more power and 35% more runtime have no comparison baseline stated. According to the maker, the 24V lithium-ion battery also provides fade-free power and has no memory loss after charging, but those claims don’t tell you how long a charge will last in your particular use.

Best use cases

This setup makes sense when you want to move music between work areas without relying on a fixed speaker location, or when charging a cell phone from the speaker’s USB ports would be handy. Picture setting it near a workbench, pairing a tablet, then using the USB-C port to top up a device nearby. The product details don’t state whether either USB port supports a particular charging speed, so don’t choose it on that assumption.

A solid pick if you want Bluetooth playback, an included battery and charger, and the option to link multiple Greenworks speakers. It might not be a great match if you need a stated battery runtime, detailed charging specifications, or confirmed performance in a demanding outdoor environment, those details aren’t provided here.

Tips for day-to-day use

Pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone or tablet as the audio source, and keep it within a practical range for your listening setup. The product information doesn’t specify Bluetooth range, so placement may take a little adjustment if the device is separated from the speaker by walls or other obstacles.

Use the USB-A or USB-C port when you need to charge a phone or tablet nearby, and keep the included charger available for the speaker’s battery. If you’re considering wireless linking, check that the other speakers are Greenworks Bluetooth models before planning around a multi-speaker setup, the listing doesn’t provide more detail about compatibility between specific models.

Questions before you buy

Does it include a battery and charger? Yes. Both are included with this product.

Can it connect to a phone or tablet? Yes. The speaker connects to Bluetooth-enabled devices, including phones and tablets.

Can it charge other devices? It has USB-A and USB-C ports for charging phones, tablets, and other devices. Specific charging speeds aren’t listed.

When it makes sense

Choose this speaker if the combination of Bluetooth audio, a 24V battery system, device-charging ports, and optional speaker linking fits how you’ll use it. The included battery and charger make the package more ready to use than a speaker listing that leaves those items separate. Skip it if your decision depends on a precise runtime, ruggedness details, or verified sound coverage: none of those are established in the provided product information.
