GORILLA GRIP Traffic Guard Indoor/Outdoor Door Mat, 47 x 35, Brown

A raised, ribbed surface helps scrape dirt from shoes and collect moisture before it reaches your floors. The GORILLA GRIP Traffic Guard is sized for busy entryways where everyday foot traffic brings in mud, water, and debris.

At 47 x 35 inches, this brown rectangular mat offers coverage for home or work entrances. Its low 0.25-inch profile is designed to let doors pass over it with ease.

Use it indoors or outdoors in an entryway, hallway, porch, patio, garage, or mudroom. A textured PVC backing and a machine-made construction make it a practical choice for high-traffic areas.

The essentials

Deep grooves in the ribbed surface help catch dirt, mud, and moisture from shoes and boots. The raised texture also gives the mat a useful scraping surface, while its absorbent, quick-drying design helps manage wet conditions around an entrance. The surface is water resistant and made to resist fading and stains.

The 47 x 35-inch format provides a broad landing area at a frequently used doorway. At 0.25 inches thick, the low profile is intended to clear most doors without creating a bulky threshold. Its brown striped pattern suits practical entry spaces at home or at work, from a garage door to an office hallway.

Unlike a simple smooth mat, the Traffic Guard uses a grooved surface to collect debris in its textured channels. That makes it well suited to rainy or muddy days, when shoes can carry more than dry dust indoors. Customers often praise its appearance and its help keeping floors clean, feedback on how well it stays in place and how long it lasts varies.

Care tips

Hand wash the mat when it needs cleaning. The quick-drying surface is designed to help manage moisture in regular use, while the raised grooves provide space to capture dirt and debris at the entrance. Use it where foot traffic commonly brings in outdoor mess, then clean it as needed to keep the surface ready for daily arrivals.

Everyday use

Place the mat at a front or back entrance, beside a garage door, or on a porch or patio to give family members, visitors, and coworkers a defined spot to wipe their shoes. Its wide rectangular shape works well across an entryway, while the textured surface is useful when shoes bring in mud, leaves, or water. For indoor placement, it can also serve in a hallway or mudroom as a buffer between outdoor footwear and the floor.

The mat is made for indoor and outdoor use, so the same format can suit different entrances around a home or workplace. Its low profile is especially practical where a door opens over the mat, and its ribbed top provides a clear purpose beyond simply marking the doorway.
