GORILLA GRIP Traffic Guard Door Mats, 35 x 23 in, Waterproof, Black, 2-Pack

Keep an entryway more manageable on rainy days with a ribbed mat that helps catch dirt and moisture from shoes. The GORILLA GRIP Traffic Guard is sized for doorways, garages, porches, and other busy walk-through areas. Its raised surface and low profile are designed for everyday foot traffic. Need a practical mat that can work inside or outside? This two-piece set offers both placement options.

The essentials

Each rectangular mat measures 35 x 23 inches and has a 0.25-inch low-profile design. That slim height helps most low-clearance doors pass over the mat, while the raised, grooved topside helps scrape dirt from shoes and boots and collect mud, moisture, and debris. The waterproof surface is suited to wet entry points, and the textured PVC backing provides a stable base for placement on floors.

Use the pair to cover separate entrances, or place one where footwear is tracked in and another near a garage, mudroom, or patio door. The black color and striped pattern give the mats a straightforward look for home or work settings. For an entry where wet shoes and tracked-in dirt are a regular concern, a ribbed utility mat is a more task-focused choice than a flat decorative mat.

Buyer feedback often highlights the mat’s appearance, dirt-catching role, and fit for entryways and garages. Opinions on grip and durability vary: some customers say it stays in place and holds up well, while others report movement or shorter-than-expected service life. These experiences can help inform placement and expectations without changing the product’s stated features.

Cleaning & care

The mats are made from polyvinyl chloride, including the backing, and are intended for hand washing. For routine care, follow that hand-wash instruction and let the surface dry before returning the mat to a high-traffic spot. The surface is described as stain- and fade-resistant, which supports use in everyday entry areas where shoes bring in dirt and moisture. Its quick-drying design is also useful when the mat is exposed to damp conditions.

Usage tips

Place a mat at an entrance where shoes are likely to bring in mud, water, or loose debris. The raised grooves are designed to capture those materials before they spread farther into the room. The indoor-and-outdoor design suits entryways, hallways, mudrooms, garages, porches, and patios, it can also be used in office or other work entrances. With two mats in the set, you can position them at separate doorways instead of moving one mat between locations.

The 0.25-inch profile is a useful detail when choosing a mat for a door that sits close to the floor. Set it flat in the intended doorway so the door can clear it, and keep the ribbed surface facing up to make use of the dirt-catching grooves. This setup gives the mat a clear job: help manage tracked-in debris and moisture at the threshold.

Is it worth it?

This set is suited to shoppers who want two waterproof, low-profile mats for busy indoor or outdoor entrances. The ribbed surface, washable PVC construction, and 35 x 23-inch size make it a practical fit for catching dirt and moisture at doorways, garages, and patios. Choose it for a utility-focused entry setup where an easy-to-place, two-mat set can serve more than one threshold.
