Getting the most from it
Connect equipment such as a PC, router, modem, or NAS to the five battery-backed outlets to provide backup power and surge protection from one unit. During an outage, the communication port can support automatic safe shutdown on a connected Windows PC, Mac, or NAS, helping reduce the risk of data loss or file corruption. For this function, connect the UPS to the computer or NAS through its communication port.
The USB-A and USB-C ports provide a combined 10W output for charging everyday devices such as a phone, tablet, or smartwatch. In a home office, that means network equipment and a computer can use the protected outlets while a personal device charges directly from the UPS. Its compact dimensions suit a crowded desk or shelf, and the included mounting screws allow a wall-mounted setup. Set the emergency-light switch to AUTO for the LED light to turn on when utility power is lost and switch off when power returns.
Buyers highlight the compact size and quiet operation, while feedback on reliability and ease of setup is mixed. The LiFePO4 battery is specified for 10+ years of use and 3,000+ charge cycles, giving this model a different battery approach from a basic surge protector that offers no battery backup.
