GOEBLESON Floor Lamp 64.4-Inch

A slim 64.4-inch profile helps this GOEBLESON floor lamp tuck beside a sofa or into a corner without taking up much floor space. Its beige linen shade softens the light, while the black pole gives it a simple, modern look.

Control it from the couch with the remote, or use the foot switch when you want a quick on or off without reaching. The remote attaches magnetically to the pole or another metal surface, so it has a designated place between uses.

Brightness and color temperature are adjustable, making the lamp useful for more than one routine. The included bulb is rated at 900 lumens, and the lamp has a one-hour timer and a memory function.

Best use cases

This lamp makes sense as a nearby light for a reading chair, sofa, or bedroom corner. For example, you could set a warmer tone while winding down, then use a brighter setting to read without switching on the main ceiling light. It also suits a nursery or office when you want a standing lamp with convenient controls and a timer.

It’s a great fit if you want adjustable ambient lighting in a narrow footprint and expect to change settings from your seat. The remote’s magnetic attachment is a practical detail if small controls tend to disappear between cushions. A foot switch adds a second way to turn the lamp on or off, though the description doesn’t say that it adjusts brightness or color temperature.

The base is weighted, and the product description recommends a non-slip mat on hard flooring. That’s worth factoring in if the lamp will sit on a smooth surface, the supplied details don’t give a base diameter or a specific stability rating. From the way it is set up, the main draw is convenient, customizable room lighting rather than a dedicated, highly directional reading light.

Where it shines

The combination of a slim footprint and a diffusing linen shade is geared toward adding a soft pool of light without bringing in a bulky fixture. The remote and timer also make it easier to adjust the room from bed or the couch, while the foot switch remains useful when you’re standing nearby. Compared with a basic floor lamp that offers only an on/off switch, this one gives you more control over brightness and color temperature, a more task-focused lamp may suit you better if you need light aimed precisely at a desk or page.

Should you buy it?

Choose this GOEBLESON if you want a corner-friendly lamp with adjustable light, remote operation, and a timer, and the beige shade works with your room. It’s not for you if you need a wide, highly directional fixture or want detailed dimensions for the base before deciding. For everyday background light and occasional reading beside a chair, its controls and included bulb make the setup straightforward, for concentrated work, a dedicated task lamp is the more suitable approach.
