Glow Critters Glow-in-the-Dark Bug Toys, 30 Count

The mix of plastic bugs and snap-to-activate glow sticks gives these Glow Critters party favors two jobs: they can add a spooky glow to a room and double as small take-home toys. The pack includes different critter shapes, plus strings for wearing or hanging them, so it suits Easter baskets, favor bags, and glow-themed celebrations.

Each bug measures 3 inches long, a size that’s easy to tuck into a basket or set out with party treats.

Best use cases

These are a fit for shoppers who want something more playful than a candy-only Easter egg filler or a standard party favor. Place a critter in a goodie bag, use the bugs as table decorations, or attach a string to turn one into a wearable glow accessory. For a quick party setup, snap a mini glow stick, insert it into a bug, and scatter a few around a dim room as decorations.

The set is described as containing plastic lizards, spiders, beetles, flies, and rats. That variety makes the contents feel more like a small assortment than a set of identical favors. Worth considering if you’re planning a bug-themed party or need several small items for baskets. It may not suit you if you need a specific critter or glow-stick color, since the listing doesn’t describe a way to choose individual pieces.

Product specs

The pack contains 10 plastic critters, 20 mini glow sticks, and 10 bonus hanging strings. The glow sticks come in blue, red, green, yellow, and purple, they’re activated by snapping and then installed in the bugs. The listing says they glow for 6–10 hours and are waterproof. Each bug is 3 inches long. The toys are described as nontoxic and kid-safe, but no age range or additional safety details are provided here.

The quantity of sticks exceeds the number of bugs, which gives you extras for other glow-stick uses or replacements. Still, the listing doesn’t explain whether every critter has the same fitting or how the colors are distributed. If you’re arranging a tightly packed basket, you’ll know each bug’s length, but not the overall package dimensions, so you can’t plan the full footprint without that measurement.

Where it shines

The strongest use is as a ready-to-assemble favor: snap a stick, fit it into a bug, then use one of the included strings to wear or hang the decoration. That small setup step makes the pack more interactive than ready-made plastic fillers, while the glow effect gives it a clear purpose at evening parties or in a dimly lit room. The waterproof claim may also be useful for decorations around party activities, though it doesn’t tell you how the bugs themselves hold up to rough handling.

If you’d rather have simple, non-glowing basket fillers that need no setup, this set adds an extra step and includes novelty insect shapes that won’t suit every theme. Its appeal depends on wanting that playful, slightly creepy look—not just a larger number of generic favors.

Final verdict

Choose Glow Critters if you want small glow-in-the-dark bug toys for Easter baskets, party bags, or themed decorations, and you’re happy to assemble each one with a mini glow stick. The included strings add another way to display or wear them, and the variety of critter shapes gives the favors more character than a uniform filler. Skip this pack if you need precise control over which bugs or colors you receive, or if you want fillers that are ready to use straight out of the package.
